This is my second time doing taxes with APS. They are always helpful and patient when it comes any questions I had. I live in riverside so I was able to do a phone appointment where you email them all your tax forms and information they need. Disappointed customer. Silvia is very condescending. I had various questions which were either not answered or answered in an arrogant tone. I believe a tax preparer is the most knowledgeable resource to make tax decisions/changes. If she doesn't want to be held responsible for decision making, she could have at least guided me in the right direction instead of stating that I need to do my own research. I would have appreciated if she taken more time to assist me than rushing me out. I paid for a service and was not satisfied. read more

I would not recommend going here she messed up my taxes and my brothers taxes. When I called to tell her I didn't receive my tax refund she said she could only help me if I paid her again after I had paid her already!!!! We didn't receive good service from APS. We were charged $500 for a simple tax return that involved 2 checks received for a trust. We then found out that our state taxes were deducted from our account twice and that we paid too much to the IRS. When I asked Sylvia from APS why she charged so much and why they filled wrong she just said that is what they charged and that we should have asked up front about the charges. She then asked for a copy of the letter from the IRS so she would know what her mistake was but would not refund any of the $500. I wonder if they charge all of their clients that much for a simple return. read more

1st time going there after being referred. Came to office from San Diego. Went in for appointment and the ladies at the front desk took my information. I completed a form and they took me in at my schedule time. Silvia and the staff was professional. They were friendly and took care of business.
