I've been coming here for several years. The cons: their new location added 15 to 20 minutes to my drive! Also when they start to get busy they disconnect the phone or something because it always goes straight to voicemail and the voicemail is never set up lol. The pros: everyone working here is pretty nice. I have gone to have them done both by Danny and Tuet (?). Both of them are very knowledgeable and professional and they're very patient when it comes to getting information. A big plus is that I always get my refund within 2 weeks I don't know how they do it! The girls up front are pretty nice as well and chill. Beware. They screwed up my taxes and my partner's taxes many times. Been doing it with them for many years prior but stopped going for a while now because of their mistakes. The data entry girls can't even type or copy simple names and addresses from paperwork right in front of them. They screwed up on my mailing address which caused an error in my IRS forms that led back to a discrepancy--incorrect data that led to my taxes being rejected and it delayed the entire process which had to be fixed. We pay these guys money every year and they finally started screwing up. They don't know what they're doing. I've gone to Tu, Tony, Danny for years, and even some Vivian chick. Last time I was there they messed up my taxes which caused an error and my taxes being held back because of an error. The IRS had my money suspended in limbo for months and it was never refunded to me. Called them up to explain and all they did was shrug it off and made up some reason they never mentioned prior and said oh well there wasn't much they could do. The Vivian girl also messed up my partner's taxes. She was new and didn't know what she was doing. After all was filed and completed and already home, she calls back later on the cellphone saying she messed up on something and has to redo it and re-send it. What the heck? Waiting hours in line is ridiculous enough but having your taxes screwed up is not the business. I'm sure we're not the only one. Just a fair warning to people, this place will mess up your taxes. Although I've been with them for many years--I won't be back. You will get audited for discrepancies. read more

We have been going to Tu and Dan since 2014 and have had great service. We haven't had any issues with being audited and they always make sure they explore all options available to ensure we get the full refund, if we are owed one. COVID 19 has definitely put a damper on things this year. I had to wait on quite a few documents to come in the mail and by the time I had everything in order, the pandemic hit and everything was closed. Luckily tax filing was extended. I called Tax Pros in early June panicking thinking I needed to file by the 15th and was advised that the office wouldn't be open until June 15th and then I could come in whenever and they would take care of me since the extension was until July 15th. Fast forward to July 11th, I had been calling for weeks asking how this would work and kept being advised by the front office staff to "just show up and they will get me in, first come, first serve." My husband and I show up today around 1:00 (I had to wait for him to get off work) and we were immediately told not to sign in that they were not taking anyone else. I get it, people are rushing in all at once and they are booked. Here's how the rest of our conversation went. Me: Can we come back tomorrow? Receptionist: "No, we are closed on Sunday." Me: Okay can I make an appointment for Monday? Receptionist: "We only take walk-ins. You can come Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday." Me: What are your hours? Receptionist: "10:00-5:00" Me: My husband and I work different hours and I go to school full-time. Is there any way we can make an appointment. I've been coming here for years." Receptionist: "We don't take appointments" Me: i guess i won't come back to you guys anymore. Receptionist; "Okay. Fine" My husband: "You guys are really willing to lose a customer?" This level of service really surprised me. I don't live in the area and was expected to waste gas going to and from their office in hopes they might be able to get me in. Never mind the fact that I work 8:00-5:00 so they aren't even open daily for a full eight hours. How is anyone supposed to work around a schedule like that? If you are still trying to get your taxes done for the 2019 tax year, you're better off trying another place. I'm so disappointed. read more

Tax pros has been my spot to do my taxes for the past few years. I was introduced by a friend and have gone ever since. It's located in Westminster on Euclid and hazard in a plaza. There's a good amount parking but can get busy. The wait times are a bit long however during tax season. When I came during opening time of 10 am, there was a bunch of people standing outside already. You put your name down and they call you/ text you. I waited about an hour and a half and my service only took 15 mins. Currently not taking new clients. I usually go to either tu or Danny.They do there best to give a good return. Prices are fair and the people have been working there for years. I recommend coming during 11-12 or a good day when people are working. read more

2018 tax time My husband and I was referred to Tax pros by his worker. It was a little out of the way from our normal route but it was definitely worth the visit. We went on a saturday and they were quite busy. We waited around 40mins but they had ample chairs and TV reception so we could watch the cooking channel while waiting. We didn't have anyone specific to go to so we just told the nice receptionist lady whomever was available first. We ended up having Danny do our taxes. He was down to earth, efficient and knowledgeable about the new tax regulations that applied to our case. My husband and I weren't asking for much, breaking even was our goal and it was met with some pocket change in the positive. He takes a bunch a different forms of payments which I found very convenient. I was able to chase quickpay him for our visit. Reasonably priced tax service and no gimmicks. I received a notice from the IRS, I've been trying to contact anyone here to help me for the last 2 1/2 weeks!!! Drove here and there's a sign, appt only after tax season! Great!!! Can someone pick up or a least give an eta when you will conduct business again! We all deserve R&R, but keeping the phone lines on busy and not returning phone calls is stressful for the consumer!!! I literally JUST got my taxes done a couple of hours ago by Tu and his staff. THEY ARE AMAZING!! I've been going to another tax guy for years (with my parents) who took forever and charged a lot more than Tu. I'm so glad I found TaxPros. These guys are efficient, fast, and get you the most refund! We came on a Tuesday around 6 and it wasn't too busy which is a good thing 'cause nobody likes waiting too long. However, I've been here other times and have seen it be super busy so it depends on your luck (they don't do appointments so it's mostly walk-ins) It's a really simple and speedy process: 1. Sign in, wait for one of the front desk girls to call you. Once they call you, they'll gather your tax statements, etc and input in the computer (doesn't take too long, maybe 5 mins or less?) 2. Tu calls you in, chit chat, jokes with you and a couple of mins later...CONGRATS you get $$ back. Then you just sign the papers and be on your merry way! EASY AS THAT! Less than 3 steps lol and all you have to do is sit there. I trust these guys since Tu majored in finance AND they know what they're doing (a lot of my friends have been here and I'm glad I made the switch). They're friendly here and YES they speak fluent English so don't be scared! Very organized place and reasonable fee compared to other places I've been to. This was my first time having my taxes done outside of Turbo Tax. Danny was so helpful. He's very up front about things. He's knowledgeable and his explanations make sense. We lucked out with a minimal wait on Easter Sunday morning, but I would imagine any other weekend morning through March/April could get rather busy in there. I'm glad they accept cash, but also Venmo or Zelle. Venmo and Zelle made the transactions super easy and secure. Danny made me a fan and convinced me to never go back to my Turbo Tax days. It is extremely difficult to reach out to them, there is no email contact information anywhere. If you call them, it directly goes to voicemail. Even after leaving several voicemails, no response. I am trying to retrieve my previous tax documents that I filed with them but having a great difficulty getting hold of them. I had to contact CA tax department to get the documents. I had my tax filed here in 2015 and was audited, hence, had to pay back for my "contributions" that I was not aware of being inputted in my taxes. When I called to resolve the issue and seek for help, they blamed it on me, insisting that I had reported such information. I never did. I was rushed through the process and was done within 15 minutes. Also, when I called for an appointment, I had requested for a specific person (based on the Yelp review), however, upon arrival, I was given another person. Their fee is relatively high for individual tax (basic). Other businesses charge much less. read more

I never write reviews on Yelp, and when I do, it is usually because a place is so horrible, I feel the obligation to warn my peoples. This is the exact opposite, this place is so freaking amazing, I feel the obligation to let everyone know. I'm a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and have been doing my own taxes for years. Last year, I started my own business and became self-employed aka my taxes got way more complicated than I wanted to deal with. I tried to do it myself on TurboTax and it told me I owed $20K so I stared at the screen for a bit, cried a bit, contemplated declaring bankruptcy a bit, and then went to Danny to beg for help. He is magic. Just magic. He was so knowledgeable in everything and helped me find credits/deductions I didn't even know existed. Switching to Tax Pros was such a good decision! I've been coming here for the past 3 years and you bet I will continue to come back. I've been to different offices where they don't seem to try to help you get the highest return. I've turned to online services (TurboTax and H&R Block) and while it was easy to do on my own, the service fee cut into my tax return amount. I worked with Dan every time and he is very thorough. He asks questions about school etc. to get the highest return possible. In addition, he gives me helpful tips each time to help me increase my return for the following year.
