In the very early 70's right out of college I found myself as a personal shopper at Bloomies in Manhattan with the likes of Mrs John Hay Whitney to Patricia Lawford and pioneer female attorneys at 20th Century Fox Studios who inhaled Chanel suits as soon as they were marked down.
