I had to explain to him that after my last surgery he had to drain the site several times and wanted to know if we could put a drain in for this surgery. He point-blank said he did not have the prior records right now and did not have an answer for that question. I have now been waiting two weeks to have a lumpectomy (with positive cancer biopsy) scheduled and when I called to see what was going on, they really couldn't give me an answer other than with Dignity taking over it was all just a mess and to expect a call from the scheduler tomorrow. - - Which is exactly what they told me a week ago when I called. There is…read morelittle to no language assistance for Spanish-speaking patients, which makes it very difficult for them to communicate and receive appropriate care. They have also scheduled appointments for patients on days when the clinic was closed without notifying them beforehand. Patients should not have to travel to an appointment only to discover that the facility is closed. The facility itself is outdated, and the staff often seem unwilling to help or make an effort to address patients' needs. Communication, organization, accessibility, and basic customer service all need significant improvement.
