My family moved my 96-year old mother into Ana's Residence Facility so she could have 24/7 care, as she was living in her own home with only part-time care before that. I had looked at 7 other care facilities before finding Ana's home care. Ana's was by far the nicest and cleanest home I had seen. Ana is a very hands-on director of care for her residents. She treats each one as if they are family and she truly cares about keeping them safe, healthy, and happy. Ana's caregivers are very loving and friendly as well. She also has the most adorable little dogs as pet therapy for the residents. The rooms are very spacious, and the home is quite large and beautiful, located in a nice neighborhood in North Hollywood. I looked all over the San Fernando Valley and Santa Monica and am ecstatic that I found her and my stepmom is as well. My mother had been residing in an assisted living center comfortably for 3 years. In December, she took a severe fall, was hospitalized and became bedridden. I was told she would need a more comprehensive level of care; her current living situation would not be able to meet the level of care she would now need. After researching the options and speaking with placement agencies, I was directed to Ana's Residence Care. The next step was a tour of the home: located in a nice residential area, the interior was bright, modern, comfortable - and exceptionally clean. In addition, the current residents and their family members all had very positive things to say about the care and the home-cooked food! To make sure that it was a good fit for my mom, Ana came and met my mother in the hospital - she held my mom's hand and spoke to her. My mother instantly relaxed and they conversed as if they were longtime friends. I knew then that this was the right place for my mom. It's been over 9 months since my mother has been in Ana's care. Ana's home care facility was absolutely the best choice for my mom! I toured many other home care residences and Ana's was by far the most excellent. It was extremely clean! It was bright and cheerful with plenty of natural light to brighten your day! Everything in the home was new and up to date and beautiful from the bathrooms to the bedrooms to the kitchen! Her staff were always smiling and courteous. They were busy! They cooked fresh meals from scratch everyday. When my mom had trouble eating whole foods they would blend things for her. For breakfast they blended fresh fruit and mixed it with yogurt! It was delicious! I visited almost every day and they were always glad to see me. The staff made sure my mom was clean, hydrated and never hungry. They would sing to her when they had to change her to entertain her and keep her mind off the task. Anna is very strict about the medication schedule, the task log and keeping up with all the office paperwork so everything and everyone is well taken care of. Anna always contacted me whenever there was the slightest decline in health of my mom. She wanted to give me the opportunity to stop by and check-in on her if there were any changes. I really appreciated that! The whole team always made me feel like my mom was just as important to them as she was to me and I loved her being taken care of at Ana's Residence Care! read more

My Mother-In-Law needed to be placed in a Care facility. We placed her in different board and care facility which was to say the least not good at all. We were so lucky to find Ana's Residence Care Facility. Ana is nothing short of amazing!!! The food prepared for the residents is top notch. The house has been completely remodeled and is kept in pristine condition. They have a gated front yard area, as well as a beautiful sitting area on the back patio. Board and care facilities are my first choice because they are really a home, unlike much larger places. I have visited 25 to 30 Board and Care facilities in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas and nothing even comes close to Anna's, she sets the GOLD standard. Its exceptionally clean. They're exceptionally kind, professional, and caring. It's beyond clean. It's light, it's bright, with all the modern amenities. The bathrooms are like a spa. The food is gourmet quality and organic. And delicious! But more than all of these things are the hearts and souls of the owner Anna and her staff. Anna is very hands on, always available. Your loved ones will not be just residents here, but family. Any issues are quickly addressed and resolved. I wish I had known of this place when my Mother was still alive. My mother was rushed to the emergency room with 104 degree fever and her body going through sepsis. After being released from the hospital she now required 24/7 caretaker assistance. We could not take my mother to her house yet as there were many plans to make such as arranging full-time caretaker assistance, installing a wheelchair ramp, etc... We were very fortunate to find Ana's Resident Care Facility. This is a beautifully remodeled facility that is designed for senior living while recuperating. My mother is VERY independent and picky- thus her being happy staying here is a blessing! When I visit my mother I can see that she is in good hands.
