I had it installed in my KC condo, but the heating and cooling company that did the installation was not an authorized Nest firm. As a result, the warranty is only for one year. So when I decided to install the Nest in my Lawrence, KS home, I insisted on a firm that is authorized by Nest. EnvironTrends is. The installation in my house was more complicated than I had anticipated, since the old wiring to my ancient thermostat was inadequate for the Nest. Marty replaced the wiring, and did everything that needed to be done with expertise. I now am very happy with my Nest thermostats in both locations, especially the ability to connect with my iPhone and iPad to both, and thereby remotely to get the settings back to comfortable settings prior to my return home after travel.

About five hours later I received a call saying a tech was heading to my house and would be there shortly. After only about 10 min time, the tech guy Jordon quickly figured out what was wrong and had the unit repaired and cleaned out in less than an hour. I called Polar and within minutes had a call back and within an hour had a service person out to look at our unit. Shortly after that, everything is up and running. The service person (JT) was fast, efficient and personable. Update: so fast forward a bit...and it was time for us to replace our a/c and furnace. I got multiple estimates and was very pleased that not only was Polar Aire competively priced but they did a great write up of their estimate and emailed (type written with multiple options explained and quoted) whereas the other companies scribbled out their estimates. (I was comparing a lot of different efficiencies and units so this was very appreciated. As well I recently got a water heater from them. Now I have met several of their technicians and they were all a pleasure to work with...timely, professional etc. I love their appointment confirmation calls and texts and how they follow up to see if you are happy with their work. Modern air charged less than half of that and they came out the same day!! Chad went over and above doing extra things to add time to my really old AC.
