BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY…read more 1 cent for any Winery Direct wine up to $15 Not being a wino, I had to ask a staff member their recommendations for a Winery Direct dry/semi-sweet red wine $15 or under. He suggested Carmen Reserva Frida Kahlo Cabernet Sauvignon Chile 2023 & Organic Arbol De Vida Malbec Argentina 2024. The cabernet had a 91 rating from the Tasting Panel, but the malbec didn't have a rating, as it was a new item. Seeing how it's made with organic grapes, and malbecs are usually good bottles of wine, I chose the Organic Arbol De Vida Malbec Argentina 2024. Organic Arbol De Vida Malbec Argentina 2024- Lovely bottle of wine. Each sip had berries & plum, plus the pucker from expressive tannins. I'm not a wine connoisseur, but I found this particular malbec approachable and non-offensive. However, I'd choose a bottle of bourbon or sake, any day of the week. 1 cent for a bottle of wine? That's cheaper than Boone's Farm! Total Wine wanted to get me nice & toasty on the cheap for my birthday, treating me like a cheap date. And, my response to that - you woulda had me in the sack in no time ;p One of the best of my birthday promos, I look forward to next year to see which new wine strikes my fancy.

Went in on Saturday, 02-28-26, for some champagne and a new red wine when I bumped into Alissa…read more Alissa was a vendor who was handing out wine samples. Not only did I enjoy sampling 6 different wines but I also enjoyed learning about the different processes of how they were made. And found myself purchasing a bottle of the last one I tasted. Which was a nice red wine. Now yesterday, 03-01-26, I went back for their "In-Store Sip & Explore" event. Had the pleasure of tasting at least 4 different wines at each station. There were 3 total. Both gentlemen were welcoming, professional, courteous and respectful. It was very intriguing learning about each wine. It was like receiving a one-on-one at a wine tasting event just without the charcuterie board lol. It was fun though and I bought a bottle of Vostra Prosecco. I'm definitely attending more of these in-store events and enrolling in their weekly wine classes. And the associates on the floor are always awesome. Being there to answer questions, recommend or suggest and guide in the right direction. I never go wrong coming to this location. I love the energy and vibes.

(In the voice of George Takei) Oh my! This place is awesome!…read more You walk in to get some coffee and a breakfast burrito and, at first, think maybe you went in the wrong place. It's a super clean looking liquor store at first glance - genuinely nice place! But then you smell and see the magic happening to your left. Greeted with a friendly face and offered a nice cup of coffee then I ordered a Philthy Philly Breakfast Burrito and HOLY COW! This thing must have weighed in at about 2-3 lbs easy! And it was just as delicious as it was heavy. Super cool, simple little spot to grab a coffee and a good breakfast burrito!

I especially like their breakfast burritos and have had good experiences here before. Unfortunately, this visit didn't quite go as planned. I ordered the ham and sausage burrito, which costs extra as a two-meat option, but when I got home it only had ham and no sausage. The burrito itself still tasted good, so this felt more like an order mistake than a quality issue. One thing to note is they charge a fee for credit card purchases, so cash might save you a little if you come often. Overall, still a solid local spot for a quick bite, especially breakfast, and I'll probably still come back.

I have been passing this place up for years! First time ever. There is plenty of parking outside…read more The outside establishment doesn't look impressive but the inside is well maintained. Clean and Organized! When you go to liquor stores in Long Beach for beverages and snacks, majority of the time it feels like and old school establishment. Grimy and Dusty. This is not the case. Its night and day from viewing it from the outside to the inside. Overall I was pleased with the ambiance. I was greeted by the cashier. The only thing I noticed that the cashier did not give me a receipt for the items I purchased. Either they should of asked me out of courtesy or just provided me one. Overall had a good experience. Plenty of selections to choose from. I have noticed that alot of hard to get items from countries were for sale there. I have been looking for some specific alcholic beverages for years, this place had it! I was surprised. Great place. I will come back.

From the outside it looks a bit small, but once you're inside you'll see they have an impressive selection. There's even a walk-in cooler stocked with tons of beers from both local and far-off breweries. One of the coolest surprises was their variety of snacks and drinks from around the world. They carry chips, soft drinks, and ice creams I recognized from my time in Japan, along with lots of unique candies and snacks you don't usually find in typical liquor stores. Pretty awesome spot with way more variety than you'd expect. **Head over to the Green Olive for my review on the food =)
