They had a fight in the morning and a second one in the evening. The dogs were left unattended, together during day play. The "handlers" apparently blew the airhorns to get the other dog to stop attacking my dog, that didn't work so then ran to get Adam. What if he wasn't there? My dog would probably not be here today. My dog and the other dog were put back together later the same day, which does not make any sense to anyone with a functioning brain. I didn't know the extent of my dogs injuries due to the attack. Adam tried to negotiate with me to pay the vet bill from his vet even before me being able to see my dog. MY DOG GOT ATTACKED DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE. He offered to give me a free week if I paid $500-600 for the vet bill. Just goes to show you how absolutely money hungry he is and what he's willing to put at risk ( YOUR DOG). I took my dog to our regular vet that Thursday and he had to have 2 drains surgically put into his leg to let it drain and keep swelling down. Not once did Adam apologize for what happened. Not once did he express any compassion or sympathy. That's when I realized it's all just money for him. You and your dog are just another dollar sign to him. This is just a warning for those of you thinking of coming here. He hires people off the street who have 0 dog training or experience with handling dogs to work for him. He is an extremely rough handler, i've watched him myself. The things that are done to your dog when no one is watching makes my blood boil. Please think twice about what may happen to your pup while in their care. My dog paid the price, don't let yours also. We've had a long 3 years of recovery for my dog to be able to trust other people and dogs again. He will never be the dog that he was before because of Adam and Obedient Paws. Please, if you love your dog, don't walk, RUN far away from this place and this man. You will be doing your dog the greatest service.

I was skeptical at first,,, but after talking to Kat and Mikalia I was ready. They took time to explain the process and what I should expect from training; and daily updates would be provided. My primary concerns were her possibly becoming passive if the training was aggressive or overwhelming (because she is a very outgoing and happy dog), I was concerned about her jumping on people, pulling while walking, and overall ignoring me. Bella was projected to worked with everyone there Kat, Makila, Halie, and Atavia. Training : Week one Every day Bella was a happy girl! There's a weekly meeting with the trainer , pet and pet parents. I hadn't had my meeting yet however overall Bella would come home and sitting on her cot without being told. Bella was more calm and content with sitting on her cot/place. I was surprised because she always preferred the sofa. Week 2 Bella is still a very happy girl !! While dropping her off she was happy and walked away without looking back at me. I noticed our walks at home were much better and her pulling was much less.. Week 3 Everyday she is still my happy Bella. I couldn't take her to public places without the stress of her pulling and trying to say hi to everyone around her. By week 3 almost zero pulling on her leash during walks, we were going to the pet store and she is more focused. She did not stop to say hi unless someone said something to her and I also stopped... at the end of week 3 I took Bella to the beach... she sat in the wagon and never tried to jump out while I was pulling (this use to be a nightmare) . After we were settled Bella sat calmly on the blanket with my sister and I .... Several people actually stopped to say how well behaved she is... I wish I would have found K9 aholics in Norfolk VA sooner. But I'm happy to I finally did. Well worth it.. Bella is still in training , and she is doing great!!

She also struggled on walks because of the constant pulling to the point we worried she would hurt herself. We decided to start with a private session with Kilo One where they came into our home and worked on walking on the leash with her. It was immediately clear they knew exactly what they were doing and saw progress after just one session! We ultimately decided on sending our pup for a 3-week board and train where she could get more practice to help her cement all the basics down. After coming home we have noticed a huge difference. She responds much more consistently to all her commands (sit ,stay, down, place, kennel, etc.) but also is doing much better on walks! Lisa Marie and Caitlin are both amazing trainers, of both dogs and their humans. They are skilled at seeing each dog's strengths and challenges, all in the context of small group training classes. They provide coaching to owners on strategies to prevent issues, as well as showing you corrections to make when a problem arises. I adopted a 18 lb rescue Terrier Mix and was not prepared for keeping her home during the work days for two weeks while her vaccines kicked in. Amy jumped in to help. She is flexible to assist with last minute schedule changes. Being military, I appreciated Amy's military family background because she understands my unique challenges and also can get on base with no problem. She even brought a harness when my little escape artist needed it. I trust her completely and am bummed she won't be going with us when we move in January. My puppy loves her, too, and can't wait for Miss Amy to visit!

We took out healthy 5 year old GSD in for some routine procedures and received a phone call a few hours later that our dog had died. i don't know if it they gave him too much sedative's/anesthesia or if someone gave him too much of whatever they give them to wake them up. Either way my very healthy young dog is now DEAD. My dog was getting a hematoma on his ear fixed and we figured that would be a good time to get him nurtured and his teeth cleaned as well. None of these things needed done and were in no way life threating or complicated procedures. It should have been a warning to us the few times we went there no one was on the same page. You would talk to someone on the phone and when you get there it was like no one had any idea about anything that was discussed. it was the same way after we talked to the Dr and received a treatment plan. Then when when we went back a week later it was like they had no idea what was going on. This place wont even take accountability.
