I am about to end my third month program at Anchor Wellness, and to say that I am happy about the decision to start this program would be an understatement. I took my newly diagnosed type 1 son here back at the end of 2020, he had major complications and was unable to walk immediately following his diagnosis and 2week hospital stay. He was extremely emotional and Dr.Minni made him cry, she even said if we didn't clear up what caused his issue in the first place he would never walk again . I'm not going to lie I agreed to the treatment to find out how much it would cost. Thankfully my CareCredit card didn't work for some reason even though there was a 0 balance, but it was like they were desperate for it to go through, I was praying the whole time to just get out of there after all of the major red flags. I left so shocked and upset because I watched her TEdTalk first. Sure she's probably great for Botox and non serious issues, but empathy towards children is definitely not part of her character. After 4months of PT my son was out of the wheelchair, after 8months he quit using his Walker, now he's able to walk around the house barefoot. Going to Dr. Minie was the worst mistake I ever made. The supplements she gave me were not needed and effected my heart. After taking her supplements for 3 weeks, my heart started racing so I went to the ER where I contracted Covid and ended up with more problems. I later found out from Medical Doctors that I have a mild case of sleep apnea . After hearing my story, several Doctors from Methodist Hospital downtown told me to never see Dr. Minnie again. She skipped several steps in my diagnosis and gave me supplements with cow/ animal products that caused my blood pressure to go up and my heart rate to go to 199 BPM. I have never had high blood pressure or issues with my heart rate. I'm still going to a Cardiologist and will soon be released after a year. I never bothered contacting her afterwards because she had the worst bedside manner and nothing good ever came out of our interactions. Please do not go to Dr. Minnie!!!! When I met Dr. Minni two years ago, I was suffering from extreme fatigue, hair loss, inflammation, severe brain fog, and was not able to lose weight no matter what I did. Dr. Minnie Malhotra totally took advantage of me in my desperate time of need. I was suffering from extreme insomnia for months. I didn't want to relay on sleeping pills, so I tried the natural approach. I scheduled the first appointment, which she charged me $300! What a joke! There was no checking any of my vital signs, or any type of medical check up at all. Which I thought was weird, even some dentist offices check your blood pressure. I sat in her office on a couch, and she had this memorized canned speech that seamed to bore her as much as it bored me. She kept yawning the entire time I was in her office, and she seemed distracted as well. I told her what was going on, and she basically whipped out these so called "wellness plans", starting at over $9,000!! LOL......I said, WHAT???? I can't afford that!!! Then out came the lower plans, $7,000, and on down to the cheapest one at $1000 for a Detox program that I could have looked up online and done myself!! I am a pretty sharp person, but sleep deprivation can really throw you off your game. All she gave me were a few sheets on what to drink and eat. Seriously! For $1000!! Are you kidding me?? She also kept pushing those Bio Identical Hormones, which I did NOT want to take. They are still made in a lab and are NOT natural at all. Then, good luck if you need to talk to anyone at that office. I would leave a message and never get a call back. I would have to keep calling. If you were lucky to get someone to answer, they always seemed confused and unorganized. I finally demanded a blood test to see if I had some underlying issue. Another unorganized fiasco!! I finally managed to get the blood work done, and luckily everything was good. Okay, so I totally wasted my money here, but I will say that it was a blessing. She did have me get a current pap smear, and a mammogram, which I had been putting off. There were a couple of concerns on both of those tests, but they turned out benign and all is good! :) So, all in all, please do not go to this lady. I ended up going to a regular gynecologist who told me to stay the heck away of the Bio Identical Hormones that she was trying to push on me. I asked her if she was taking them, and she said yes........that explained why she looked so bad. Seriously, save your money and go to a regular doctor, sometimes regular medicines are necessary. I do not take sleeping pills, but was given an anti anxiety med, which is also used for insomnia, to take before bed. I sleep like a baby now and feel absolutely wonderful. ALL I needed was SLEEP!!!! Which she totally failed at helping me with! To me all she wanted was my money......So sad......... read more
