We talked on the phone and were able to set up a time for our boat cruise. Meeting at the Riviera dock was easy (he called prior to let us know what he was wearing and what the boat looked like so it was easy to spot him). The boat ride was so enjoyable! We brought some snacks and wine to enjoy while we learned more about Lake Geneva and the houses in the area. The sunset was pretty spectacular too! Thanks Capt Thom! He even gave us all flowers to make a wish on for the bride, it was very sweet! Thom was really knowledgable about the lake and we enjoyed the interesting facts he shared about the various beautiful lakefront properties. We cruised around, toured the lake, and even got to float off the boat in the water! We could not recommend him enough! If we are ever back, we would love to take another trip with him! Rented a pontoon on Lake Geneva recently, and it was a lovely experience!…read more Elmers was super easy to connect with. I originally meant to book online, as the portal was easy and straightforward, but we weren't sure the time that worked best for us until the day arrived. So instead, we were able to walk right up to the stand and get booked in. I should preface that this was a Wednesday afternoon, so it wasn't busy. I'd imagine on weekends and in the height of summer you'd want to book/reserve in advance. My dad, a long-time boat owner, took on driving responsibilities. He was given all of the instructions and boat details during a 10-15 min intro from one of the boat workers, who are all teenagers I might add. And I don't mean that in a bad way - they were all super friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. We took our the 'Select Tritoon' boat which was very spacious. I believe it could fit up to 10 people, and we had 8 (2 being small kiddos), so we had plenty of room. It even had high-top, bar-like seating in the middle section which was cool. I'll note as well that the kids are or course required to wear life vests, which were provided to us. They offered a few different sized until we could find the right fit. My only feedback is that I think $500 for 2 hours is steep. Maybe it's because of the area? In Milwaukee, we've rented pontoons for half the price, but double the time. All in all, still a great experience. Definitely rec for visitors.

Scam. Scam. Be very wary of this business. We rented waver runners from them only to lose our…read moresecurity deposit. We were docking the waverunner as per the staff instructions only to have it bump an object. There was a ding on the boat. Mind you it was a very narrow dock with no staff actually coming out to tow the waverunners in. Someone then came by and said it was our fault when it was their staff who directed traffic. I suspect the business uses this excuse to charge the customers for minor damage and keep the security deposits claiming they need to repair the waverunners. The waverunners by the way had other dings on it that were clearly not repaired. If other yelpers have had similar experiences, please file complaints accordingly so that others will not suffer a similar scam( " bait and switch ") while on a vacation.
