They "check you in" on an iPad by insisting you sign up for their loyalty program and that's how they "start a tab" for your visit. The lady who did my pedicure was more transactional than anything - didn't introduce herself until I told her my name. I'd give the service a B+. As for tipping, they would like cash tips but you're not allowed to give it to the person who performed your service. The girl who did the pedi said to handle it all at the front counter. At other salons with that policy, I've been given a small envelope at the front to put the money in and then written the name of the person on it and dropped into a box. Here, you give it to the man up front and he disappears with it. How do I know she received it? The whole experience seemed slick to me. The pedi was fine but I'm not comfortable with how they operate the business.

I was able to make an appointment same day & was fortunate enough to get an appointment 20 mins later. I saw Hannah & she was very nice & efficient. It was a quick appointment. She did a good job. The wax didn't hurt & left minimal redness. She offered a cooling agent or moisturizer when she was done & I declined. I never do because I'm always concerned about an allergic reaction so out of caution I always decline. I don't have any personal experience with their products beyond the wax. Truly, the redness wasn't that bad & went away fairly quickly. It's cashless checkout which is fine as that seems to be the way most places are going these days. I was given the sales pitch for buying a package of waxes. It's not a monthly subscription, simply a package of waxes. I declined not because it wasn't a reasonable price for the packages but because I'm really bad about going in consistently to anywhere that isn't the eyebrow threading place in Surprise that I'm used too. My eyebrows don't grow enough to go every 4 weeks & I don't want to go to have like 6 hairs waxed from each eye. Maybe one day I'll be a better adult & make consistent appointments. For now, this will have to do & I'm happy to know this place is close to me, has convenient hours, & reasonable prices. I would go back but not sure when.

Sabrina was professional, friendly and down to earth. She saw me right on time, even asked if I needed to use the restroom before starting, which I really appreciated. I hadn't had a Brazilian in a little over 3 years. Sabrina explained that she'd start with traditional wax and finish with sugar wax. I'll be honest, it was much more painful than I expected. I'm not sure if that's because it had been so long or just my own sensitivity. That said, she did give me aftercare tips, use an exfoliating glove with soap and water, and suggested numbing cream next time. So overall, very positive because of the great service and professionalism, but the waxing itself was quite painful for me, and I hope it's easier with numbing cream next time.
