The staff are wonderful, friendly and it's these kind of cafes that made me fall in love with London. Next time, I had a lunch and I'm a salmon lover so I had to get a juicy piece of Salmon. Their salmon preparation is outstanding. First, the quality of the fish is just terrific and the delicious honey, soy glaze is so good. Their greek salad is crave worthy and I haven't even had a sandwich here yet. Some of my proudest London moments involve the Deli. First, when I introuduced my Italian friend who told me this was a legit spot and proceeded to show me some of her favorite pastas and ingredients to buy. I felt that built my clout as a aspiring Londoner. Another proud moment was taking someone who grew up in Victoria and never heard of the deli before, he now goes there every week. This is an absolute gem of a place and sadly, now that I'm in LA, I can't go here for my morning coffee or favorite lunch. When I'm back, this is one of the first places I want to go. We did order a pizza here and it was surprisingly delicious, made very well, thin ,with a nice crispy crust ,plenty of cheese and a delicious marinara sauce . We went back another night and ordered wine , salad and spaghetti with broccoli. The pasta was cooked aldente with tender well seasoned broccoli.it was all very good ! Unfortunately, I had to share this dish with everybody at my table; I could have eaten the entire plate by myself because it was so darn good. The bread that they used was their own pizza dough. It was really fluffy and absorbed the garlic flavor really well. YUM! I also highly recommend the Ravioli Marittimo for an entree. The ravioli was stuffed with bits of crawfish, crab, and poached salmon and came in a creamy, garlicky tomato sauce. A perfect combination of ingredients. I definitely want to order this again the next time I come here. Service was really slow when I was here because, according to my waitress, they were training new chefs in the kitchen that day. But hey, I'm willing to forgive since I left this place with my taste buds satisfied and my stomach filled to the brim.

First waitress was engaging, then wasn't able to answer a question I had such as "what is that" so she brought in someone else--she was great, then disappeared. Ordered a couple of Old Fashions--very good--someone would bring them over, with no response when they placed it on my table. I said hello, and nothing. But you know how Americans are, we value that stuff more than most people do so no big deal. I want to rate this place higher, in my heart I have been thinking of this place for a long while. My meal came to £5.60 which was such a bargain considering it was the best food I'd had in weeks. Not so great during COVID for them because they have to make the place even smaller to accommodate distance restrictions, but still they let a few people in! The food is great. I always get the truffle pasta, and I know it's expensive, but it's so fresh and flavorful. We also always get a pizza, and they're all good. The tiramisu here is top notch, and so are the starters. We usually get a cheese or meat starter. It's a great little spot with good food and a nice owner. They have a "special customer" aka a cute little cat that sometimes is outdoors near there. He's the nicest cat and doesn't bother anyone. Delivery and takeaway are both great options, and takeaway is a little bit cheaper than delivery if you can pick up in person!
