After waiting for an inordinate amount of time for our coffee, we ran out of time. My friend got a barista's attention and said, "Sorry, but we have to go." He didn't even ask for the order to be refunded. The barista snapped, "I have it right here! It's the only thing I've been working on this whole time!" We had both ordered 12 ounce cups, but she handed us a 12 and a 16. I asked if she was sure it was mine, as I had not ordered that size. Still apparently in a snit she snapped at me as well. "I only charged you for a twelve ounce!" I said it was fine, and as we walked away from the counter she called after us nastily, "Sorry you guys don't trust nothing!" We got to the car with our coffee and it was lukewarm and generally awful. We didn't object to the wait time. It was long, but maybe they were busy with the drive-through. And a bad cup of coffee isn't the end of the world. But neither my friend nor I had been rude to that barista, and there's simply no excuse for an employee of any business to be making nasty comments like that to customers. I rarely post negative reviews as I feel it's more productive to encourage good service than complain about bad. But if their employees are allowed to speak to customers that way, it says something about the business and if the owners don't know their employees are speaking to customers that way, they should probably be told. I was disappointed with my coffee. I ordered 2 12 oz. mint mochas hot, one with oat milk. It came to $12.60 and the coffees were sweet but lacked coffee flavor. Mine was with oat milk and it had a nice sweet oat milk flavor. But was lacking a rich coffee flavor, almost like they didn't use enough shots. One had everything the menu said it had and the other had banana peppers, cucumbers, no corn or beans, and only a little chicken compared to the other. A true Yakima staple, Tom Tom has been around for longer than most of us can remember and, in this observers mind, remains a true example to awesomeness! The caffeinated offers are vast and rival just about anywhere. They don't have as many push the envelope offers as some spots, but they do have plenty of options AND they deliver to businesses in the area (as long as you order three drinks or more)! The drink de jour at least for many of my coworkers is a Red Bull + whatever flavor they desire. The watermelon red bull is quite good and they come in huge and enough to bathe a pet sizes (24 and 32 oz, respectively). Infinite combinations are at your disposal and if you came up something unique and tasty, I bet they'd let you name it! Less expensive than the chains and just enough character to remind you of why going local is the way to go. It's hard to think of things they could do much better here. Went to the TH location and had to repeat my order 3x on the speaker (it was only two items) and then again at the window i had to state what i ordered. the old lady with the colored hair looked annoyed and went back to her touch pad. then asked if i wanted to leave a tip, i said no, again was met with annoyance on her end, and i had to wait for my food. as it was given to me she might as well hoped in my car with how close she handed me my food, practically in my face. i didnt get a chance to open my food until i was at work, i got burnt eggs and some black specs im assuming is pepper in my energy drink. im not going back, i am just going to go to dutch bros or starbucks- least they have better customer service and prices. read more

I can tell it's not made fresh. there was a date written on the packaging (first giveaway), the breading from the croissant is soggy along the edges, and there's one slice of Turkey. Very quenching, and almost exotic tasting, and something I'd LOVE to put some liquor in! My friend loves it when I'm visiting Yakima so she always tries to take me to cool places. She's been bragging about this drink with redbull called twisted sister. I finally get to come here and try it. This review is based solely on this drink and the service. For about $3.45, you will get a venti (I think) sized drink. I got the twisted sister, which is: redbull, orange juice, strawberry & vanilla syrup, and I think lemonade? I'm not really sure. It just tastes fruity with that redbull flavor. I thought it was tasty. I'm not into coffee or any kind of beverage at an expresso shop, so I was impressed with this drink. It's definitely a cocktail, but without the liquor. The service was great. I thought the only thing they could've improved on, was the way the drive thru works and how you order in person. As we were trying to order, while talking to the barista, she kept turning around and leaving us to attend to her drive thru order. I thought this was understandable, but also a bit chaotic. Nonetheless, she was helpful, kind, and friendly. This is a small expresso shop, so don't expect anything big. It probably fits like 15 people sitting inside with the tables. The entrance to the parking lot is small, and can get a bit crazy with the drive thru window on the same side as the small lot. Order a twisted sister for me and enjoy! read more

I ordered a white chocolate mocha. Never had I ever gotten one w zero flavor the cost was like $5.30 something. Gave them a tip so for me I won't return but I'm glad I can say I gave it a chance. I'll remain true to Karlees Coffee in Toppenish. Out of all places I've traveled that's the best! I will say it was fast but then again would've been amazing if the drink was worth it. read more

Working for Cassie is absolutely miserable, she treats her employees like delinquents and expects to have her ass kissed after she steps on her employees all day. The place is trashed in places you can't see, absolutely disgusting. The fact that we put dishes away wet is screaming mold. It's unfortunate for the employees that actually enjoyed their job as a barista that walked out because they couldn't put up with being treated so poorly. Walked in today, stood at the counter for a bit first off while one of the employees stood 10 feet away from and paid no attention to me standing there, tried to find someone else around the corner in the back finally someone came out looked over at the employee that could care less not busy at all and the least you do when a customer walks into an establishment is acknowledge them, say something like, "we will be right with you in a moment." I have worked almost twenty years in the food and beverage industry so I know a little about customer service and you guys have dropped the ball, but that was not it. I brushed that off whatever that's fine, maybe she is having a rough day, it happens to all of us. After making my order of 34 dollars and tipping them over 6.00 dollars I got my drinks which I walked and grabbed and I don't mind that then they brought out my toddlers hot dogs and never came back. I had ordered also a wrap and two yogurts which come to find out after I walked up and my kids have been eating already for almost 7 minutes I asked if I could get the rest of our order. The girl that did not want to acknowledge me in the first place says to me in a tone like I should have known, "we don't have the yogurt anymore", I said okay well the other gal asked me what kind of fruit I wanted well yeah because it's a fruit cup. Um wtf? At that point I'm confused and irritated because by this time the chick that doesn't want to work just sucks in general. There was really no resolution they kept my money for the yogurts or fruit cups whatever that they decided I needed to buy instead they did not give me she did not follow up Like okay let's get you a refund NOTHING was said besides I'll make that wrap. Yep Never even started my lunch I was waiting for that I ordered and I needed to go back to work soon. I just walked out after I ate a few bites of my wrap they got over a 6 dollar tip from me and then also were paid items I never received. I live right down the road and you won't see me again. There's a reason why DOUBLE SHOT has a waiting line in the mornings for a reason! Their service is good their coffee is good and they will make it right if they screw up!!! Coffee is great. Customer service is even better. The ladies there were so accommodating when my mom was admitted to the care facility next door. I don't live in the area so I can't take mom coffee in the morning. However, I was able to get her a prepaid card. So when she got up she could order coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I wish I could give this place all 5 stars genuinely because amazing employees and amazing drinks BUT an issue. First, the manager treats her employees like shit. I've heard things from countless people and have even heard it myself while in drive through. Second issue, the punch cards! Each card has 9 punches, about 5 dollars each drink (at least for me). They mess up my order constantly when delivering and when I call because I'm missing items or my order isn't correct they give customers a hard time. I even had the lady repeat my order back to me to triple check it was correct And it still showed up wrong for the third time. DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT HERE!! This is actually for the Terrace Heights location. They started out good and have gotten so bad I am done trying them. Their sandwiches started out fresh and very good. Even had my parents stopping in for them. Now they don't even put enough chicken salad in them to to cover the bread. The bread was all dried out. Received lattes that had bad milk. On top of all of this, they do the "no touch" signature so they ask if you would like to leave a tip. That is so rude! If you can hand me the food and drinks you made me, then I can sign. The only thing I could say is that it can be difficult to get in and out of here because the parking lot is kind of awkward (on 40th ave) but if that's an issue for you, visit the location on Washington ave. Great iced mocha! I tried it when Washington Federal Bank was offering free coffee from them.

My teenage grandson and I were wiped out...we were making another trip back to see "Papa" at the hospital, who was fighting for his life....on our 41st Anniversary...all we wanted was a hot Carmel Machiatto, and an Iced Carmel Latte. When we received two hot drinks, and I tried to correct the error, we were first ignored, then when I called the barista back, she took the drink, said "Well I can pour it over ice for you" and did so in defiant form, in our face, and when I mentioned my grandson had asked for an iced drink, she told me he absolutely did not. I explained in a calm voice that I don't lie, and that he did ask for iced, and would never drink a hot drink....at which she informed me that he did. I reiterated again that I would never lie about this, and calmly stated that I have been in customer service most of my life, and one of the 1st rules we learn, is that the customer is always right, and it would serve her well to consider her customers...her reply and attitude towards us...who just needed some energy to meet the day...was so shocking, and unexpected of an owner. I've been a patron at this, and the other locations for years....unfortunately, this will be my last. read more

They have really great coffees, smoothies & flavored red bulls. The only complaint that I have about them is they need to stick with prices. One day my husband and I ordered a 32oz strawberry banana smoothie with whip and it came out to be $4.75. The next day we ordered the same thing and it was $6.
