NEVER HIRE THIS FIRM! ASHLEY PIPAL especially. I hired this firm to recieve back pay from my ex-husband. He never paid back pay since the day we got divorced. I have a 14 year old. I worked with this lousy firm for 2 years to TRY and get my back pay back. Seems simple enough? Ashley and her lousy firmed screwed up my case so badly that all they did was month after month was overcharge the hell out of me then fired me as a client the week before court! when I was paying them $800 a month because they claimed it wasn't enough money for them. I have been with Anderson and associates for several years. I am very pleased with the outcome of all of my cases. The office staff has always been professional and polite. There has been a number of times that I had called after hours and on the weekends and my attorney was always there to answer my questions. The pricing is reasonable as well,they had to fix a few things for me also when I thought that I can LEGAL ZOOM ...not a good idea. Never think that you can logically do your legal work online without an attorney. Luckly they fixed the mess at no additional fee. I highly recommend this firm for your legal matters. I've used A&A for a couple years now for misc. legal matters for my family. They have been able to help us with a variety of issues and items from a legal perspective. We recently have been working towards purchasing a new house and they have been nothing but helpful in getting our paperwork together and getting that process going through to completion. Great way to waste your hard-earned money. I spent thousands to get run around in circles dealing with my divorce, a lack of communication about what happened at MY court dates, billed for EVERY SECOND of EVERY last email or phone call. I should never have left the attorney I had beforehand (who was going on maternity leave) at a different firm. STAY AWAY from here if you wish to have anything resolved in a timely manner. I wasted more of my time and money with this firm (namely Sarah Nolan and her team of paralegals) achieving less in FIVE months than I did with another in one month. Look elsewhere, please! Even my friend who uses them (and is how I got their name) is looking for other representation in their divorce/custody case because they promise a lot up front and give you ZILCH in return except for an exasperated bank account. read more

Run don't walk! Retained Bob Bozko March 26th after one hour meeting to discuss child support termination. Bob sent us a financial affidavit (standard document sent to any client looking for modification). I emailed Bob (April 3rd) to say we have changed our minds and arrived at an agreement. He responded we should still go to court to make it legal. We told him we are ending his services and to send the unused portion of our retainer. (Initial retainer $2500.00). Bob deducted a total of $857.00. I feel most of the charges are not vaildated. Example: Bob charged us twenty minutes, TWICE, for responding to two emails with approximately 6 sentences per email!! I understand his time isn't free, however, 20 minute charge ($60.00 x 2) to respond to an email that takes less than a minute is agregious! read more

Bob Boszko was there for me during a very difficult time - the worst time in my life during my divorce. He has a very good temperament for a difficult job like this...he doesn't play dirty and he doesn't get mean with the other side. He keeps his cool and stays level-headed. He's thorough and in some cases found things to our advantage that I had completely missed or was unaware of. The judge responded to his arguments positively. Because he is so busy, at times it was hard to get a hold of him. However, Andrew and Yana stepped in and got me answers when Bob wasn't available (usually he was in court, working hard for another client). When Bob is with you, on the phone or in person, he is 100% with you. He's present, interested, and invested in fighting for you. He fought for me and I'm grateful. Reached out to them a few times regarding an issue with my fiancee's ex husband and parenting agreements/child support. I received 1 call back (which I missed and went to voicemail). I called again a few hours later, and was told I'd get a call back. I called again, and was told the same thing. Evidently, they are independently wealthy and don't need business. Move on. I would not recommend this firm. They helped me finish my divorce but its been 2 and a half YEARS and they still have not been able to finalize the division of the pensions. Not very responsive when you call, calls do not get returned in a timely manner, emails go unanswered. They are never proactive (calling me with an update, sending me an email to tell me they are still working on it etc ) I am the one who always has to reach out to them for an update. But man they never let a week go by if you owe them money, they are totally on top of it then! Robert Boszko was the lawyer handling my case and i would not recommend him. I am at the point where im going to have to hire another lawyer to take over and finish the last of my pension division. Very poor customer service. read more

Do not use this law firm, they are only good at taking your money and telling you fluff. Did very little actual work on the case, needlessly dragged the case on for 18 months most of which was due to their own screw ups and which by the way they always refuse to take responsibility for. Family law involves the lives of children, their shameless acts and behavior is nothing less than taking advantage of this broken system and families caught up in it. I've caught her lying several times during our phone calls and NOT being truthful about the case. She was always late to court. She was a bad lawyer in my case.Be very careful, as she will sell you out for money. Stay away from this firm. Mr. Anderson cannot practice in Illinois due to his suspension. I agree with the other posts that recommend NOT using this law firm. They are awful. They only want your money and then do a horrible job. Unfortunately, this firm was ordered by the court for mediation between myself and my ex husband. Attorney Boszko did a terrible job in mediation. I have dealt with many other mediators in the past and they were superior compared to Mr. Boszko and their fees were far more reasonable.. His fees were ridiculously high and he accomplished nothing. Even though they didn't do their job they demand their money and harass you then threaten to file petitions in the court to get their money in full immediately even if you are making reasonable monthly payments. It is ALL about the money for them...NOT about the people they are working with. read more

Sorry to say they assign young inexperienced attorneys that defer to more experienced opposing counsels. The best interest of the children are ignored (especially because the judge defers to whatever the most effective lawyer comes up with). The attorneys are nice but unfortunately you don't need a nice attorney in a divorce. Week counsel elsewhere. read more

I worked with Becky on a divorce case. She was respectful and explained things well. The receptionist always got messages to her and someone would respond via phone or email. Sometimes, Becky would answer right then and there to help expedite the process. More importantly, she resolved my case to my satisfaction. The only reason I don't give the firm 5 stars is because this was my only experience with a lawyer so I'm not sure if they could improve and I try to be utterly honest during reviews--that's the point of Yelp, right? As far as they don't return phone calls, I disagree. I think you need to understand they have other cases and may be in court or need to research the info pertinent to questions you ask. Everyone thinks they are the most important client with the most urgent issue but the truth is some other matters are more pressing and they respond in a timely fashion. As far as financials, I scoped out three lawyers and found A&A to be fair and middle of the road. The case did take longer than I expected but that's because my ex dragged it out. I think if you are concerned about fees, be sure to be very clear with your attorney about what you do and do not wish to pursue and with how much frequency/aggressiveness. Remember that your lawyer is as advocate for you so you need to trust their expertise while at the same time taking ownership for what guidance, facts, info, requests you give them. It also helps to remember this is a business relationship and emotions should not get in the way of your case when you are anxious, frustrated, hopeful, angry, etc. with another party. read more
