I got my taxes by John Bruszewski in 2018. This year, I received a notice from the IRS that I owed $2000 from 2018. After review from another accountant, John had applied a $600 child care credit that he should not have. Further, a 1099 was not accounted for. I emailed John to let him know. There was no sensitivity or understanding that this was his mistake. He pretty much told me I couldn't prove the 1099 was given to him at the time- which I had it filed with the paperwork I gave him. So there would be no reason why it wasn't. I asked for a minimum reimbursement of my service fee I paid him. He rudely denied it and issued me a check for $26. I understand mistakes happen, however the unprofessionalism and insensitivity is not ok. At least a refund of his service fee would be expected as he provided a service that he did incorrectly. read more

Where do I start? Linda Bal was an ABSOLUTE Godsend to me and my family. She was the calmness after what eventually developed to be a very stormy journey. When I say she went above and beyond her call of duty, I can't say it loud enough. Being that this was our first time selling a home, we were in a place where we didn't quite know where to turn....for we felt that people we should have been able to trust, we found that we couldn't.... but when I say God is SO good and honestly shows in his own timing... he put her in our lives at just the right time. I would try to find another lawyer before using her, even if the other lawyer charges more. She does not operate in a timely manner nor does she follow through completely with the job you are paying her for. They will play the "I sent you an email" waiting game. Will you get your bankruptcy eventually, sure. BUT, if you have any issues with the company that you included in your bankruptcy, don't count on her to take care of it. Your response will be... "why don't you call them or send them a copy of the filing". This is supposed to be part of the service you pay a lawyer for... otherwise, why not do the filing yourself, then you are only paying the court fees. Not the court fees + the her fee (her advertisement only speaks of HER fees and neglects to say that you also have to pay the court fees on top of it so it's kind of a bate and switch cause most people would expect to go in and pay only the fee she lists in her advertising). Pay close attention to the other negative feedback....don't brush it off like I did. You want someone that will follow through with ALL that is involve in your bankruptcy. read more
