It contains a wealth of experience, knowledge & unique experience that highlights how valuable to the community it is. And it always has been. I've find childhood memories of frequent visits here with family, and my school. And hope whoever happens upon this humble review takes a chance and pays the RMSC a visit. Definitely a great spot to visit with kids and the family for a nice afternoon.

I've attended drop in and refresher improv classes here and can't say enough good things about the instructors and feel. If you're brand new to improv or a bit more seasoned, The Focus likely has an offering to meet your needs. They have a new space in the Sibley Building downtown, and are building up to more performances and offerings there in the coming weeks. I am looking forward to getting back sometime in the very near future and can't wait to see the amazing things they cook up.

I was sent to Intro to Adobe Illustrator by my work, and had the best experience. There was a ton of content crammed into our semester, and I now confidently create advertisements, eblasts, and social media content for my organization in Illustrator exclusively. Working in Illustrator can often be frustrating, but Jeremy (the instructor) answered my questions with grace, patience, and a sense of humor. A gift certificate to this center makes for a great gift! There is a wide variety of class offerings, and many opportunities to push yourself or someone you love out of their comfort zone. Nonprofit art centers like Flower City are the backbone of ROC, and make it the cultural beacon that it is. I hope to someday become a member and make use of this facility on a more regular basis.

The theater itself was smaller than I thought. Maybe I'm just used to Kodak Theater on Ridge Road, which is much larger. But I like the more intimate experience. We bought tickets for an Amy Winehouse tribute band. They were excellent. The sound was great in there. We were in the first level left side of the stage. We parked right on the street so that was easy. But they do have a parking garage below and I'm not sure the cost. The theater itself is on the second floor of a building that overlooks a cool courtyard that's in between the theater and the old Xerox building which is now called Innovation Square. They had some good drink choices there, no food choices like cookies or anything, but that was OK. Overall, a very cool and good place to see a show. I'll definitely keep my eye out and come back in the future.

Parking is easy and felt safe at night. The opening act came off the stage and literally walked right in front of me while I was on the way to the bathroom. I got front row seats, and got them pretty easily. I also did the VIP before the show. They made us line up outside, which was weird because it was windy. But I don't think that had anything to do with the venue though. I stood center stage right under him for his whole show. That makes one happy fangirl. I have been a BSB and Nick Carter fan for years and years! This was by far the easiest venue I've ever been to see them, and the easiest it ever was for me to get the front row. If he comes back here, I will run back! :)

Such a cute theatre with historic charm. Feels a little bit like stepping back in time. Love that…read morethere's a cafe and not just consessions. The rooms are small but cozy. The screen is a little smaller than the chain theatres, and theres no fancy reclining seats, but this remains an important Rochester staple. There is a small parking lot with limited spaces by the entrance in the back.

This place reminded me of the Exploratorium in San Francisco, , except instead of interactive exhibits highlighting scientific principles, these interactive exhibits were all about play! Play for both the kids, and the grown-ups. They had a ropes course for the younger kids, and another one for older kids and the grown-ups. For the kids, they had a scale model of a local grocery chain, where the kids could either "work", or "shop", right down to the working checkout lanes. They had a Sesame Street exhibit...., A butterfly habitat, and and All kinds of different indoor and outdoor play areas. I can still hula hoop! (for a whole five seconds...). They also had all of the exhibits on toys, games, and video games. This is the home of the national toy, Hall of Fame, and the national video game Hall of Fame. it was so cool seeing toys from my childhood, and a wide range of video games and pinball machine machines that are playable. The price to get in is very reasonable, and they also offer a military/veterans discount, and memberships to the museum, which offer free museum admission. There is a parking garage attached to the museum, with a small charge for parking, and there is a also a small charge for the ropes course, the butterfly habitat, or to play the video games/pinball machines. (4 tokens for a dollar, and every machine only takes one token...) This is an absolutely fun museum for kids of all ages. Thanks!!!

While her attention span isn't very long, there are more than enough things to do to keep her occupied for several hours. Having an outdoor area is also a plus in the warmer weather. I am sure we will be back in the future with our granddaughter and her new baby sister.
