Dr. Lee is like the NASCAR pit crew of extractions. 15 minutes start to finish. The hygienists are all extremely reassuring and kind and easy to talk to. I hate that I can't remember her name but she held my hand because she knew I was nervous and y'all, she even wiped my forehead with a cool towel. An angel. I was terrified of going to the dentist and now I'm looking forward to booking a cleaning.

the combination of plague and unemployment beyond my control means my oral hygiene has not been up…read moreto par of late. the brushing and flossing and rinsing have continued apace but without regular professional cleanings or assessment of my efforts. not surprisingly I wound up with a bad tooth in desperate need of attention... scary bad... so bad that the x-ray showed the middle of a molar as a cloudy blob :-( also had a cracked tooth that wasn't doing me any favors but funny thing about that is while poking around in my mouth the hygienist pushed the tooth back together! heard and felt it snap back in place and the pain was about cut in half immediately. neat! still had a raging infection in my jaw but way less total mouth pain... Dr Montgomery seems a decent and concerned individual. she came in to assess my situation and explain what my dental problems were and then sent me home with referral slips and a prescription for antibiotics. my x-rays were forwarded to the other doctors along with the notes so all I had to do was make the appointments and take my meds. when I get the urgencies all taken care of I'll be back in for the more mundane treatments and evaluations and some more roller massage chair. when society collapses and the barbarians commence to pillaging I hope someone has the sense to preserve the tools of modern dentistry. yea for teeth doctors plying their trade without pliers!

I asked on my first appointment if this included all the work that I needed, and she said yes. When I arrived to start my treatment plan, I was told this was for today's visit and given a new treatment plan cost of over $19,000 as my part to pay. They tried to tell me it was a misunderstanding, but I asked several times if this was everything I needed, and was told yes. IT WAS DECEPTION; they should have given me that treatment plan at the beginning. I left because now I don't trust you.

Here is my review…read more I am a 100% disabled veteran who was sent to PDA from the VA to get my teeth fixed and things started out amazingly; felt comfortable, this is important as my disability is related to healthcare and feeling ignored due to a botched surgery and failed aftercare! PDA sent me to the Wilkesboro PDA office for a second opinion; I went as I wanted to make sure i was getting the right treatment and a second opinion made sense. I arrived about 20 minutes early to my appointment and let them know im im early and they said to wait in waiting room and ill be called at my appointment time. Appointment time came i physically watched people come in and get taken back for appointments AFTER MINE. One guy was called back named Todd we even asked "Which one" ugh it was the other one! i waited approx 20 minutes after my appointment time (total of about 40 - 45 minutes total, yes early was my part) but not being notified or updated and left alone to my own devices and feeling ignored by healthcare.....YET AGAIN....triggered my PTSD so I left and told them ill reschedule when they actually had availability. I left and called the troutman office and scheduling and told them what happened and said NEVER EVER send me to that office again and let me know next steps. NOTHING....RADIO SILENCE.....called VA they calle dthe troutman office who spoke to the office manager who sai dit was all my fault and had the audacity to have the wilkesboro office call me.....HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give a zero to 1/2 star. I made an appointment to see a dentist here to help me…read moredetermine if the pain in my lower right jaw was a bad back tooth or if it was TMJ/TMD. I was given Ron Davidson and told he was their TMJ "specialist". I came into this office with pre existing conditions/details about my dental history that were crucially important in assessing an overall treatment plan. He over zealously spoke of one of his "inventions" the designed to treat TMJ/TMD issues such as pain and sleep. I explained that I was just out of Invisalign treatment on my top teeth and he said his "invention/retainer" would also take care of keeping my top front teeth aligned while the bone healed around them and they became more stable. I had spent $4000 on Invisalign. For the next several months I came into this office no less than 14 times with problems due to his "retainer/invention". During this time the top tooth that has the Invisalign treatment went back to its original position rendering my $4000 spent worthless. Davidson had to make a second retainer because he never could get the first one to fit correctly, even after multiple grinding sessions of both the retainer and my teeth, which are now hollowed out and sharp to the touch of my tongue. I clearly told him that the most important thing going on in my mouth was my front teeth as they pertain to my Invisalign treatment but that was not on his mind. He seemed obsessed with the idea that he would be able to put an additional notch in his belt in favor of his invention so he could get his pat on the back. I stopped going after, 14 visits, and grinding my teeth, he s=could not get my bite right. on my last visit, I came in and told him he needed to adjust my bite because on one side of my mouth only 1 front tooth was touching the opposing lower tooth and it was actually making any TMJ I did have, WORSE! He brushed me off and continued on with his inner dialogue about how wonderful he is and how he loves to solve PUZZLES! He also gave me pricing on not 2 (as requested) but 5 upper front crowns and 1 implant crown at (excluding temporary crowns and other "potential" costs) @ $24,000. Outrageous! In the beginning of this awful experience, Davidson said he would reimburse me for the retainer ($1100-very expensive for piece of plastic that never fit). I requested reimbursement weeks ago and I have heard nothing back from anyone in the practice). I went back to the orthodontist and my periodontist to confirm what I thought about his "treatment plan". He had ruined my Invisalign result, left my front teeth unstable and hurting, and ruined my bite. My periodontist sent me to a new dentist who had to fix my bite so I could even close my mouth. I don't leave reviews often, but will if I think I can help someone else out by providing inside information about the character of the people in this dental practice. Since Davidson is a principal/owner, it is only logical that he would tell his employees how to respond and deal with problems that inevitably arise when dealing with patients. I don't blame any of his employees, but I put the blame squarely on Davidson and his self aggrandizing behavior. Reimburse me the money you owe me Davidson...
