Thank the Lord for Yelp reviews haha. I made and appointment through them and the guy who I assume is the owner's son was very kind and helpful. He answered all my questions and ended the phone call on a good note. However, the day of my appointment, about 10 minutes before my instructor was supposed to pick me up, he texts me and tells me that he cannot make it due to his car breaking down and offers to reschedule me. I look him up on Facebook, and to me he just kinda seemed sketchy looking. I show my mom the website and she thinks it's not legit because on the site, there are several copyrighted logos. We look up Yelp reviews and thank goodness because I don't know what I would've done in a weird situation if it came up. Thankfully, I cancelled the rescheduled appointment and went through Redding Traffic School. Best decision I've made as they are super sweet and helpful. read more

The most inappropriate and unprofessional driving course you could ever have the misfortune of taking. I highly advise looking anywhere else because you will only be met with an uncomfortable and downright creepy experience with this school. I took this driving course a few years ago with the instructor (if you can even call him that) Eric Mora. I'm a male and he was asking me inappropriate questions regarding my personal love life and things that having nothing to do with driving. A few years later, my sister also took his course for her first, and last, behind-the-wheel practice drive and she had to deal with the same unprofessional instructor. She described him as being very creepy and made her feel extremely uncomfortable. She also mentioned a concerning amount of racist remarks he made. I was skeptical until I started reading reviews and discovered that other students, especially females, underwent similar experiences. I'm absolutely baffled that this driving school is still in business. Avoid at all costs! read more

Zero stars for this company. The owner Eric made very inappropriate comments to my daughter on her last lesson. Thank goodness it was the last. She was honestly scared he was going to hurt her. I also was advised that it would be a month to get her last lesson but then I complained and they found her a spot. I would not recommend this business for anyone especially not a daughter. He would tell her how beautiful she was, how much he loved women and why And kept telling her he wish he had cash or his debit card so he could take he to Dutch. read more

Too bad I cannot select zero stars. While not a student, I have to call out one of the female driving instructors. Not only was she holding her cell phone and talking on the speaker when driving, she failed to pull over and stop for an emergency vehicle that was running with lights and siren. This was on Eureka Way, a four lane street. She not only failed to pull over and stop for the ambulance, she did not even slow down or change lanes. If this is the example they set for their students, then all I have to say is parents take your children elsewhere. read more

I would give negative 5 stars if possible. I don't even know where to begin. I was 18 when I took my lesson and that has been probably the creepiest most uncomfortable experience I've ever had. It took at least a month of calling to finally hear back from someone to get an appointment. My instructor was the owner Eric Mora. He touched my leg inappropriately and asked if I was okay with it, told me his girlfriend was my age and how he just likes having sex with her, how his wife is dying from cancer (which I felt bad about) and that he's being accused of sleeping with his 16 year old students. During our lesson he kept getting phone calls from his family saying the cops were at his home looking for him because his wife kept saying he was trying to kill her off. Besides all of his creepy perverted and downright scary comments, he didn't even instruct me how to drive! I had to keep asking him where to go and what to do. And if I didn't do something right even thought he never told me how he would yell at me over and over and get mad. He made me pull out in front of a large semi when I wasn't ready by grabbing the wheel and jerking me in front of it. I was lucky I had driven twice before or I would have been very scared having no instructions on what to do. When our lesson was supposed to be over he said he had another appointment he was supposed to be at but he wanted to stay with me longer. When we finally got back to my house he proceeded to ask my boyfriend if he could take a nap in our driveway. This is probably why he never shows up to appointments. There is no doubt in my mind he was on something that day between his actions, the way he was talking, and just everything about the experience I had with him. He wore sunglasses the whole time I barely even saw his eyes. He even started falling asleep while I was driving and apologized multiple times. I'm not sure if this business is still open but PLEASE do not come here or send your children. read more

I have taken two lessons from this guy I need to take another I had an appointment but they they called and canceld the day before because they double booked it and I am going on vacation for a month and my permit expires in August and I have elbow surgery on the 5 th and I can't drive for three months this guy always would talk about how much money he has and how his wife is moving to Europe and he Is going to leave here. He had me take him by his tax office and left me in the car with the keys I don't recommend him go somewhere else he would talk about how bad the kid was before me read more

I'm extremely disappointed with our experience for our second child. My daughter just finished her last lesson today, and we both agreed that a review online was necessary. She had two different instructors for 4 lessons. Her first and last instructor was the owner, Eric Mora. His teaching was intolerable. He gave her zero warning for turns and signals, and then gave her a hard time about it when she missed the turns. He was constantly trying to joke with her, telling her to "lighten up" and asking her if she was always this quiet, making her very uncomfortable. Then belittling her for not following his directions, which were unclear to her. His manner was completely UNPROFESSIONAL! I would NOT recommend using this company!!! So disappointed, as my first child had a completely different experience 4 years ago with them. read more

My son completed the online driver education program and both of called to obtain the certificate for the DMV. Eric never returned our call or emailed us. I wouldn't recommend his services. Who knows how inconsistent he'd be with the actual driver training. read more

My teens first lesson was cancelled after confirming 10 min prior to the appointment (instructor became sick in 10 minutes, yet no phone call), rescheduled lesson and went well, second lesson was confirmed twice the day day prior to appointment, once a 10:30, they called back at 3 to confirm, I called back at least 5 times before I could talk to someone to reconfirmed the confirmation. Next day waited 12 min after scheduled appointment, spoke to the person I reconfirmed with 3pm prior day, he said he'd call back. After waiting 40 minutes I called back, took 2 calls to reach them, said their car overheated in cottonwood and there was no cell reception. I swapped to another school read more

Driving instructor Gary Alt is wonderful - the only saving grace for this business. Very unreliable scheduling. First lesson was the only one that went smoothly. Simply did not show up for the second lesson, did not call with an explanation, and did not answer my phone calls for a week. I initially thought they had taken my money and ran. Totally unprofessional. Not sure how their business survives considering they constantly reschedule and/or don't even show up to scheduled appointments. They have extremely poor work etiquette, let alone manners. They have rescheduled on us multiple times now, showed up an hour late to our second appointment, and for our third they didn't show up at all. After an hour and a half of waiting for them to show, they still didn't have the decency to at least let us know they would be late. To further exemplify their unprofessional behavior, my niece had an uncomfortable situation while on one of her lessons as the owner made inappropriate comments and suggestions about women.
