View from pool bar during storm

My family of 5 stayed for 7 nights and every night was great. We got a complete room cleaning halfway through the stay which made our room fresh for our enjoyment. Free laundry, and a full decked out kitchen also made our stay better. The only complaint I have is workers on the pool deck not stopping kids that are making other customers stays less relaxing.

Do not stay here! Upon checking in we noticed how dingy and dirty everything was. Holes in the wall and ceiling. Dirty and dusty floors and windows. Asked to changed rooms and were told they are overbooked and can't accommodate. They never even offered to have someone come clean.

I had a wonderful stay at Anderson Ocean Club in Myrtle Beach. The two-bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable, and the oceanfront balcony was absolutely beautiful, you could hear the waves at night, which made it so peaceful. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I loved the easy, convenient access to the beach. The indoor and outdoor pools were a great bonus, especially during the winter months. Overall, it was a very relaxing and calming stay, perfect for unwinding.  Also surrounded by plenty of food and the boardwalk. I had an issue with my sheets but they accommodated for it. Other than that I had a great experience.

I am so disappointed this is the worst hotel stay in my lifetime the suite was filthy dusty the carpet was filthy. The walls were filthy. I checked out the next day, and when I went to the front desk, they did not let me speak to a manager and I left my name and information. I also sent them videos and pictures of the room and no one ever got back to me to reimburse me, I will continue to pursue reimbursement, but I highly recommend you find a different resort. September 2023 checked in!!! What's extremely disheartening is that they were renovating a suite across from me and it looked amazing but they put an owner/Hiltondiamond member in a ratty room and refused to address it .

This is a nice resort. We stayed on one of the Hilton condos on the upper floors. It is right on the beach, and there are pools , and hot tubs. The room is nice with a kitchen and a balcony with great view of ocean. Self park is free and close by

When you look out of your water front view balcony, it feels like you're on a cruise ship

After reading reviews I was admittedly feeling a bit nervous about staying here, which was quickly quelled once I saw our room. Highlights: the staff, the room, location, the view. Lowlights: amenities, lobby options, food options, coffee bar. It seems much of people's overall experience is influenced by their room since this is a long term stay place because some are privately owned and some are Hilton owned (about 30%). Not sure how you can guarantee a Hilton room other than going through Hilton Grand Vacations. So all I can say is do your research and find out what photos are for what room and see if you can make a request when you book or check in. If it helps, I was in the oceanfront 2 bedroom on the 21st floor, room 05. Def request that if thats the room size you need - it was amazing. The staff - especially the front desk, the valet, and the adorable bartenders, were friendly, accommodating, and sweet. They really made our stay extra special. I mean, when does the valet get a shout out - they definitely deserve it. We were disappointed by a lack of things like having free coffee in the lobby (seriously every hotel has this), and were told that there was a hot chocolate bar every night, which after the first night we checked in, was never seen again. There really arent any food options in the building and the one they promote, Magnolia's looks like a shady buffet (no thank you in this post COVID world). The coffee shop on site had limited options and hours and all of the food there was dodgy looking pre packaged stuff. The outdoor pools looked fab, though we went in the indoor area since it was in the 30s. I didnt see any staff around monitoring it so heads up about that, was sort of unhappy that there was a 4 year old child in the hot tub..... (but not my circus so...) The bar closes at 10pm every day, even in the high season. Im sure there is a reason for that, but surprising. They offer pretty standard options, nothing top shelf or fancy, but it does the trick. The parking garage is across the street and a block away which I am glad that they have this, just not SUPER convenient. Overall we are grateful for the stay and would come back.... as long as I got the same room again hahaha.

We had a great stay at the location . The room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. It was near everything with in walking or driving distance . They recommended quality restaurants to try. The staff and valet staff were all very friendly and professional.

Read room description carefully! We booked and ocean view. Usually hotels if it's a partial ocean view it says that. Foolishly, we thought our ocean view room would be a full ocean view. Not a corner sliver view. Absolutely ridiculous. We called down saying we are very disappointed and after some back and forth they say there could be an ocean front room available tomorrow but they can't see if there will be lol. They also said the website can be misleading. We are Hilton rewards members so we expected a bit more. The workers were rude. Not willing to accommodate. We checked online and there was plenty ocean FRONT rooms available so they said we could book and get the room in the morning. So we did. In the morning we were told room 310 (we were 315) so an easy move. When we went to lunch 310 was propped open so we were excited to see them 'cleaning' it. Get back from lunch and shopping and it's still ajar. 3:30 rolls around and we have been all packed up since the am waiting for the move. My husband goes down and they tell us 310 AC is out and won't be available to switch. WTF. How long have you known this? We were waiting most the day to Switch and enjoy our OCEAN FRONT room. When open the door to Our new room and someone is in there. Oh boy. Now the saving grace was the large patio. You can actually sit as many people out there at occupy the room. If it wasn't for the nice room Switch I would be absolutely pissed off. We are waiting for some reward points to be credited for the BS of the first night. All in all I don't think I'd stay here again. The rooms need a GOOD cleaning. You'd think in off season you'd do some Maintenance and clean really well. No. Very very dusty and dingy.

So, I read the reviews concerned with cleanliness and all the other issues that people had brought up from past experiences. The hotel from the outside does look amazing. Inside, the hotel offers free rentals for movies which I thought was awesome including brand new ones that had just come out after the theater. We met Michael, who was very nice and we had him dying of laughter. When we walked to our room, we were thoroughly impressed with everything. The room was very big. The view was gorgeous as we were overlooking the ocean. We had separate rooms and separate bathrooms from our friends which was awesome. We had large flat screen tvs in both rooms and in the common room. Kitchen was provided with full utensils. Beds were comfortable and the room was kept very cold. The one negative I would say is the couch was horrible. Tried watching a movie on it last night but it was very uncomfortable. Other then that great experience. If we were to come back to South Carolina, I would come back here.

Me and my son really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very clean, the pillows and linens were very soft. The day shift staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only issue was the night shift staff was very rude to my UberEats driver. They refused to let him leave the food at the desk and they have no designated area for deliveries to be left. You cannot access the elevators without a room key. When he asked about leaving it at the desk one of the employees replied, "Not on MY desk." My driver was also a Diamond Member. So you never know if the person you're being rude to is also a customer. He was taken aback by it. I tipped him extra for having to deal with attitude and it taking him longer to drop off his order. The bath tubs are painted and the paint was coming off in one which got in the bath water when I was drawing my son a bath. We just used to other tub instead which wasn't as bad but the paint was also peeling in that one. The indoor pools are nice and heated. It felt like bath water. We really enjoyed the pools! The parking garage isn't that far of a walk if you don't want to pay for valet. You can also park near check in for loading and unloading. Check out time is 10am. This is because the rooms are large and it takes a while for the cleaning staff to finish as opposed to a smaller hotel room. You can ask for a later checkout time, 11:30 if you need more time. The views were amazing! I would definitely stay here again. My room was the nicest room I've ever had at a hotel! I would give 5 stars if it were not for the nasty attitude from the evening staff.

Our only vacation this year and my husband was so proud of himself because we were there to celebrate our anniversary. He was so excited and became increasingly disappointed when we got to our room. The pictures online looked nothing like our dark dim room. He not I were aware that they were trying to sell us a timeshare in their building. We didn't want that but just need to relax for our anniversary. If the intention was to have us back on our next visit or to get us to purchase a time share, you lost two customers. We have been homeowners and know how to care for a home. The lazy River is a lazy oval. My husband was disappointed as he was looking forward to it. We wanted to sit on the beach in chairs but it was $50 daily to do that...way to nickel and dime guests who feel like they overpaid to stay at this "resort." The proximity to the parking garage was good and the view was wonderful. We also enjoyed the mini golf and the coffee shop. But... Room 513 had a bed frame that was stabilized with blocks of wood. I find it hard to believe that Hilton doesn't have better furniture or access to another bed frame. There was peeling paint on every door, floor boards, and walls. The frames for the closet doors and laundry doors were rusted out and made it difficult to open and close those doors. The dryer had rust inside it as well. There were gashes in the wall near the table as well as more peeling paint. There was rust on the shower head. There were light bulbs that needed to be replaced in our room and the bathroom. The curtains were frayed and the chair was worn and uncomfortable (not very supportive). Also, only one chair and there were two guests which meant one of us had to sit on the bed. Also only one chair on the patio so, we couldn't even sit out there together. There were a couple days when we slept and put the "Do Not Disturb" magnet on the door, but the days we didn't, our room was never cleaned or replenished the six days we were there. Could I have reported the state of the room? Yes. Should I have to? No. Management or whoever is responsible for property upkeep should have taken care of those issues before making that room available for guests. This resort did not feel at all like a resort experience for what we paid for the week. We would like a partial refund. We do not recommend nor will we come back to this "resort."

I really wish I would've gotten more photos of the property however, it was so cold outside we were rushing every time we were out and about the hotel. Staff was very nice and welcoming and got us checked in with the breeze we chose not to utilize valet, which was only $20 but the parking garage was less than a block walking distance elevators were always readily available with no wait time. The property was extremely clean and just as the pictures had depicted. The bed was comfortable and all appliances were extremely clean. They have inside pools and hot tubs as well as outside. The property is in close proximity of everything nothing less more than a 10 minute drive for us or a 15 minute walk. There is also a spa onsite that I've heard great things about. I definitely enjoyed this resort and will be back again!

We ended up loving it so much that we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. The location was honestly perfect. There was a Walmart nearby, the boardwalk and boardwalk mall were close, and there were plenty of restaurants within a short distance. The beach access was in a great spot, and the entire area felt very clean and safe. The outside pool area was modern, well maintained, and very inviting. The breakfast advertised in the lobby definitely lived up to expectations. Every morning there was a fresh breakfast along with a fun waffle-making station, which we really enjoyed. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. There was also a restaurant on the main floor with a great atmosphere, and the food was very good. There were only two downsides during our stay. The kids' splash pad -- one of the main reasons we booked this hotel -- was unfortunately out of service the entire time due to needing a new pump. We understood that these things happen. The other issue was that the rugs in the room did not seem very clean. We ended up keeping our shoes on in the room, so it wasn't a huge issue for us personally. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely book this hotel again

Loved there was a spot to rinse off the sand from beach upon entering the pool area. One of the staff members gave great restaurant recommendations. Now, the bad. There was an extra $100 (exact) tacked onto my bill upon checking in. It was not on my email confirmation. I assumed it covered parking, but did not. Parking was additional $60 for 2 nights. Nobody told me where this $100 came from. So, I'm now assuming a security deposit? Will it be refunded when I check out??? I would have cancelled, but was not in a position to find another hotel. The a/c unit barely worked. The paint on the ceiling above my shower was peeling off. That's in the video I posted. Also, you got to go to another floor for ice. We were given a wristband to wear, but nobody was wearing them, and nobody was checking for them either. These fees is what brought my review down so low, and the pool area (I only went once at night because it was less crowded) helped gain a star.
