Stay Away! Still trying to get a response to resolve paint bubbling issues that originated 7/2022…read morewithin 2 weeks of job completion and has been communicated many times beginning in 8/2022. Subcontractors are used, making communication and coordination extremely difficult. I incurred extensive damage to window and door frames/trim due to adhesives used, stain overspray on Trex decking and slate walkways, and lawn damage from dumped paint. The project manager and office staff I worked with are no longer working for General Painting, with the exception of Renato. Lesson learned: the money saved was enticing, but this is not a company who eagerly stands behind their work.

He is their star and a dedicated knowledgeable professional. Kingswood is very lucky to have him. He is responsible for encouraging Kingswood to include full overlay doors in their product line. Their finish work is also excellent. His attention to detail, creativity, innate design sense, patience and quick responsiveness to client phone calls are consistently present as he seriously cares about his clients' projects. I have done about 20 kitchens, bathrooms and can judge a kitchen designer fairly accurately. He came to our house early on in the process and spoke honestly about the approach we should take with our kitchen...start over with new cabinets and a single island instead of our dated but beautiful and still in excellent condition Kingswood Kitchens cherry cabinetry with 2 islands. It wasn't because Kingswood would be able to make more money on a new kitchen but he was right....why put expensive marble counters on 20 year old kitchen cabinetry. Do it once, do it right. I was looking forward to working with Petros and referring others to him (which I will still do), but decided to go with a fully custom cabinet shop instead.

We would rate Good House Flooring, out of Danbury, CT a negative 10 for the installation of our LVP…read moreflooring. We had two other flooring contractors come in to review their installation. Both companies, in writing, stated that the flooring "wasn't installed correctly". We ended up having to REMOVE the entire flooring and had a competent installer reinstall the entire floor. GH Flooring would not admit to the mistake or correct the mistake. Their response was " its close enough". We recommend to stay away from them. If on the off chance they cause damage to your home, (which they did in our home and refused to take responsibility) or install the flooring incorrectly, they won't correct it. Completely unprofessional and unworthy. Please take heed of our warning and just go with a real professional installer. Do yourself a favor and avoid the expense and hassle of having to do your floor twice.
