We took our lawn mower to Andersons after the motor blew up just as it was approaching 1 year of use. We called to check on the status of the repair work and was told not to call and that they would call us. Never did we ever receive any phone calls. We continued to call about every other week. At one point we were told that they needed to send in the motor to have it inspected. Several weeks went by and still no phone call. I was very rudely told "do not call us we will call you". I still to this day have never received a call from Andersons with any kind of update or status. I called Ferris myself. I was spoke to the Jeremy the manager and was given all he information I needed. He was pleasant, thorough and professional. He could not believe how long Andersons had our mower and had treated their customers. He put me in contact with Dennis Jors who completed the inspection. Jeremy and Dennis, both told me that Andersons had received the report weeks prior and should have contacted me over a week ago. I explained that I have never heard from them. Jeremy and Dennis both went over the report and stated that they would send and email to Andersons asking them to please reach out to me. Waited a week and heard nothing from Andersons. I called and the female answering at Andersons once again told me not to call and that someone would call me. No one called. I called Ferris back wondering if they could give me an update. I spoke with Jay and he was once again very kind and thorough. He couldn't believe the care we getting from Andersons and apologized over and ver. He stated that I needed to show up in person and demand an update and or my mower. He gave me the name of other Ferris dealers and assured I would not be treated like this. I drove over an hour and went into the store to see what I could find out. I was told "oh yea there is a note to call you and the motor is ordered" Waited several more weeks with no phone calls and hearing nothing. Went back to the store and they tell me "Oh there is a note to call you, your mower has been done over a week now an asked why I hadn't picked it up" I never was contacted!! No one called no one reached out to let me know the status. This entire process took months. read more

I bought a new scag liberty z 36 cut from Andersons Madison Indiana in the spring of 2022. Lawn mower has about 15.2 hours on it just used to mow my small yard weekly. after using the mower for about 5 months, I was mowing my yard when the mower just stopped moving, so I shut the mower off raised the seat on the mower. The spring transmission drive broke part number ( scag 483112) that puts tension on pully for the drive belt. I had hard time trying to get the lady in service to understand what had broken on the mower. They said it would take about week to get the part in, then she said I could put the part on myself. So here I am thinking to myself i bought this mower new with a 5-year warranty and spent 5900 dollars with these people they are telling me just put the part on yourself. they had about 5 liberty z mowers on the show room floor that they could have taken the part off one these mowers they got very rude with me for suggestion that. I will never buy from Andersons again, they have bad customer service once they get your money, they could care less about you. read more
