The number he gave me was a little high so I asked for a previous year model to see if I could get a better OTD. We agreed to a number on the 2025. He said his manager gave me the best deal they could do. I thought it over a couple days, then I told them I'd be ok with the deal and would come the following day to finalize since they wanted a 2k non refundable deposit. I called off work to get the deal done so I didn't have to do the 2k deposit to hold the bike. I went in, they looked at my bikes and said if I'm good with the number, do I want to go ahead and finance the little remaining balance after my trades. I said I was good with it, THEY RAN MY CREDIT, and came back and added 6k on top of the OTD and said they made a mistake and missed the number. AFTER RUNNING A HARD INQUIRY ON MY CREDIT. the GM said it was his fault, but said he would make it right. He took 2k off the 6k they "mistakenly forgot to add back". I told them no deal. Shady business practice. How do you make a mistake after me calling and texting almost every day for a week asking for the number break down, and having 2 sets of eyes on it repeatedly? Don't recommend. Imagine if it's your first time buying, and you are trying to establish credit, this could ruin someone's chances of getting a loan later down the road. "sorry" doesn't fix credit scores.

They didn't follow instructions, didn't repair the bike I brought in (a much older Yamaha), made it worse (admitted to stripping a gear), added parts that didn't fix the problem, and didn't behave in what I feel is a professional matter. They seemed poised, after all of this, that I was going to sue them; I didn't. I won't set foot in their shop again; caveat emptor.

Immediately offended I left sold it for over retail price because of all the accessories and had 3 buyers interested so he paid asking price. The buyer's first words was wow this is really clean. So I called back for a price on a Ranger which was way higher than other dealers. 3rd strike. I'm done. So. I ended up driving 3.5 hours each way into Illinois and bought one cash. I try to use local stores I will not spend my money at Polaris in Seymour.

Had to go to…read moreGreensburg or Bloomington to get it serviced, so I was excited to learn that Seymour had taken over Honda when I bought my Goldwing from them in 2019. Mine was the first they'd sold, if I remember correctly. Well, I took it in for routine service May 31, and as of today (June 16), the solo mechanic hasn't started on it yet. Sounds like the owner needs to hire more staff (3 folks operate the sales, parts, and service depts). Trying to be patient, but this is ridiculous. I guess I should tell by there decreased inventory of bikes that motorcycles are not their focus. John's been wonderful to deal with on the phone (he's in sales, BTW), but his hands are tied if the place just has one mechanic. Sounds like I'll be looking to Indy in the future perhaps.

Today I called as I always do and said Bennet is bringing it today. They said I had to come and sign in person first. But never said anything about not taking delivery. Bennet got there and called me and said they refused de3livery and said "I told that guy we wern't taking delivery without his signature" But the4y never said that. In fact I told him I'd be there just before closing. So I called Jose who I thought was the owner. And he kind "apologized" but wanted to scold me and demanded I get there in an exact amount of time or they would still not take delivery of the Ranger. So I said I will do a review and we will not be back. Treated us like dirt. I was about ready to buy a new one. Not at CC I wont. They were even rude to the Bennet's driver.
