At $2 per breast and $1 per wing, the price was pretty good, and the atmosphere had me hoping I might have struck gold with their chicken offerings. The aroma in the car was overwhelming positive. At home, it turned out that the pieces were large and well fried, without being overly oily. Yet, the parts I ate we're not moist, but on the dry side, although the flavor was decent. There are better chicken shacks in town. Still, Papi's appears to have a strong following with people walking in and cars pulling up in surprising numbers while I was there. That owner has departed, but the same people remain in the kitchen and are now running the show. Radish, Cucumber and Lime wedges for each taco, plus excellently grilled Jalapeno and Scallion on top of the whole shebang. Delicioso! The Chips and Salsa seemed homemade, as the corn crispies came out hot and scorched, with freshly made red and green Salsa. Really good!
