I was contacted by an Office Staff (Not a tenured Staff member), but I'll leave Her name anonymous. Long story short I was contacted by a Staff member to confirm current insurance and the appointment was made. Shortly after my Telehealth appt I switched Providers and contacted the Office to book a second app at which time a tenured Staff member confirmed my current insurance wasn't accepted. I was confused and mentioned my previous appt was with the non-accepted insurance and immediately contacted Cape Fear Valley billing. I was contacted by CH and She explained the Staff member was no longer with the practice (WOW)! My first thought should you be sharing that info? Second thought... How many other people were mis-informed and mayve experienced the same issue. I was told to submit a financial assistance application to help with the bill. After a lengthy back & forth and having to submit 3 different documents I was contacted and told I got approved for a 100% sliding fee, but it will not cover my $263.00 bill, so all the documents I provided were never really going to help the bill I acquired due to the lack of knowledge on the Staffs part. I have since changed my insurance to be able to continue care at this Office without a chance of this becoming an issue in the future, so the sliding fee really doesn't help me. This is terrible and this bill should be written off cause I would never have intentionally made an appointment with an insurance my Provider didn't accept.. Terrible customer in this matter and highly disappointing.

If I have questions or concerns they are always helpful and answer any questions I may ask when it comes to my eyes. When I had my cataract surgery Dr. French, in Pinehurst was my surgeon and he did an awesome job so I would tell anyone about them. My friend Ronnie just had his 1st cataract removed last Thursday here in the Rockinham, office and he is pleased with his results so I told him to just wait until he has his other cataract removed on the 23rd and he really will be pleased with his results. So in closing I will say if you have eye problems give Carolina Eye Associates a try. The nurses and Doctors contradicted each other a lot which felt very unprofessional and I didn't know who to trust. 3. Nurses were on their phone while talking to me. 4. They let me use a "communal contact solution" which felt very unsanitary. 5. They gave me a. "elective" exam without informing to me of it leading to an unexpected fee. And when I asked why they didn't inform me of this they gave me serious attitude. Overall I am just very disappointed in this facility and will not be going back. Don't waste your time!

I expected a deep tissue focused massage. What I received was a very nice soft tissue massage and whole body rubdown. While being a very nice massage it did nothing to help with my issues that I clearly stated in writing and in discussion. As I was told she would start lightly to find the tension and then get harder to work out the kinks I just kept waiting for her to start working them out. Today was our new appointment and it took them 45 minutes after our appointment time just to call her and take her to the back room for her to sit there and wait. When you walk in there all the people sitting in the waiting room look like zombies that's because they've been there for hours. Good doctors bad scheduling would not recommend them unless you're a person that just likes to sit and wait and doctors waiting rooms.
