We submitted a detailed shot list in advance, which the lead photographer, Lena, admitted she barely glanced at and chose to ignore. Important, personal photos we requested were completely missed--and somehow, we were blamed. Even though she admitted fault, we were told timelines were the issue. There was no accountability, and no apology. The video team missed a key moment from our reception and gave us a rushed trailer with mismatched music. When we flagged the errors (that should've been caught with a basic review), we were told we'd have to wait two more months for a revision. Absurd. We were constantly following up on every piece of this process--Photoshop edits, album corrections, video revisions. There was no quality control, no urgency, and we were the ones catching their mistakes over and over again. We even drove out to meet with them in person to get things resolved. Jovon, the owner, made a lot of promises--that we'd be made a priority, that things would be expedited. But afterward? Nothing. He called once, said he'd follow up, and then disappeared. No resolution, no genuine accountability. The admin, Lisa, was rigid with her limited schedule and not helpful when trying to coordinate team meetings. The editing team was sweet and you could tell they really cared to make us happy, but clearly inexperienced--we had to walk them through multiple corrections on video calls they'd never done before. For the price we paid, this lack of professionalism was shocking. The only bright spot was Carlos, their lead videographer. He was kind, positive, and tried his best--but unfortunately, his efforts were drowned out by the team's carelessness. In the end, we did get our final photos and videos only because we spent countless personal hours managing their process, reviewing everything ourselves, and doing the job they should have been doing. We really hate writing a review like this--especially about a family-owned business--but we gave them so many chances to make it right, and they just didn't care enough. If you're considering Jovon Photography: they will treat you like a priority until your wedding is over. After that, you'll be chasing them for months, fixing their mistakes, and left heartbroken by how little care is given to your most important memories.

MPW was, without question, the most disappointing vendor we worked with for our wedding. Their work reflects complacency and a lack of professionalism that is difficult to comprehend given their reputation. I strongly advise against hiring them for your wedding. On the morning of our wedding, the team rushed every moment, creating unnecessary stress. During the reception, the issues escalated significantly. We paid a substantial amount for a same-day edit, which they repeatedly promised would be ready "in five minutes." This delay continued for over 90 minutes. As a result, the DJ stopped the music multiple times in anticipation of the video entrance, and approximately 90-95% of our 400 guests believed the reception had ended and began leaving. This completely disrupted and ultimately ruined our reception. Several months later, we received the final edited video, which was expected timing-wise. However, the quality was shocking. The video showed severe technical and artistic failures: the camera focused on a guest's armpit during the ceremony, excessive lens flares blocked the screen during our first dance, and extended shots included the photographer's bald spot instead of the couple. Additionally, important screen presentations prepared by my wife's family were entirely missed. When we contacted MPW to express that the video was unacceptable, a team member accidentally replied to our email in Filipino rather than internally. After translating the message, it stated that it was "the worst video he has ever seen" and that "the guy they hired was terrible." This confirmed our concerns about the quality of the work and internal oversight. We requested corrections, after which MPW sent a revised edit. Unfortunately, they only changed the presentation slides (after we provided the files again) and added excessive fade-to-black transitions. It was clear the video had not been fully reviewed. In multiple scenes, their crew can be seen sitting in the background or not paying attention to framing, with people walking through shots--further demonstrating a lack of care and professionalism. I then sent a detailed email with timestamps outlining every issue. Despite this still being the first proper revision, we were repeatedly reminded of their policy that additional edits cost extra. Each revision fixed one issue while introducing another, creating the impression that the process was intentionally prolonged to justify charging for additional edits. After 14 months of ongoing communication, we finally received the completed video. However, the raw footage--part of our agreement--was not included. We had to follow up again before it was finally delivered. At this point, we will need to hire another editor simply to produce a watchable and respectful wedding film. This experience included a rushed wedding morning, unacceptable filming angles, missed key moments, a severely delayed same-day edit that disrupted our reception, and over a year of exhausting back-and-forth. I do not enjoy writing reviews like this, and I am generally very understanding of human error. However, the level of negligence and lack of accountability we experienced was unacceptable. I would not want any other couple to go through this. Please learn from our experience and avoid this company. I only posted 3 screenshot from the first video but have many more
