I am on a fixed lease with my landlord and he required renter's insurance upon renewal and recommended Farmer's as an insurance company, but another agent. Since I work close to Andrew, I decided to go to his office. I have another insurance company for Auto, and was really impressed with his service. Andrew gave me the option of doing physical paperwork or doing everything online. It's a nice option to have depending on how you want things done. Andrew was fast and efficient. The whole process only took a few minutes outside of the questions I had regarding my policy which he was expertly able to answer. When going over my options, Andrew looked out for ME and my best interests instead of trying to up-sell me. It's very refreshing to have someone who actually looks at what only the solutions that will suit me and makes suggestions. Andrew is an expert and not a salesperson. Every time I have contacted Andrew's office, it has been a pleasure dealing with everyone there. Andrew takes the time to speak with most clients directly. This is NOT one of those offices where you get insurance and feel kicked to the curb. This place is definitely full service and I have been very happy. Andrew is legit. I called him from a referral posted on another website and he quickly provided me with a quote that I needed to make a decision. He was to the point, and emailed me info right away. Really appreciate his efficiency and follow up. I decided not to change insurance for many reasons, but if you're in need of insurance in SoCal, I highly recommend him. Unless you want to be frustrated --- go elsewhere. Andrew is only responsive and competent initially. Thereafter, he still does "respond". He just doesn't answer the question you asked, regardless of how simple and straightforward. He is also excellent at giving information that is completely incorrect. Example: "Can I insure a second home separately" Andrew's answer "Yes". After continued inquiry which is "necessary" with Andrew, the new answer is "No". He quotes higher premiums that suddenly become instantly lower when you inquire. He gives incorrect information as to deductibles available, also unnecessarily increasing premiums. In short, I don't know about the legitimacy of his 5 star reviews, but to me, they seem suspect. read more

Andrew is a life saver....let's recap: I was paying an insane amount of money for my car insurance but Andrew provided me with lots of options and suggestions - I ended up able to have better vehicle coverage, a lower deductible, an umbrella policy & homeowners policy all for just short of what I was paying for car insurance alone with my previous carrier!!! Andrew was excellent in reviewing my current policies and helping me to understand the gaps in my coverage. He took the time to explain how the earthquake policies work for a condo and how to ensure that I'm covered even when the HOA doesn't have coverage for the entire building. He asked questions about my business and got me set up with both liability and E&O.
