I've never had any menstrual issues. He promised to start me on hormone replacement therapy after the surgery. At my follow up exam he refused me hormone therapy. I can't express how betrayed, manipulated and lied to I feel. I was 48 and still had regular periods. Now I have major depression, hot flashes, fatigue, incontinence , osteoporosis, weight gain, loss of libido, and a 33% higher chance of cardiovascular and coronary artery disease, among others like dementia, neurodegenerative disease and renal cancer. These people called me at least once a week for 4 months and finally convinced me to get the procedure. If I was in so much danger, why have they not done any follow up PET scans or pap-smears? I wish I had never heard this doctor's name. I have had many surgeries over my life and this hysterectomy was a Huge mistake that I can't undo. I'm finally getting used to the changes in my body and emotions. Please don't let Anyone take part of who you are! You won't ever be the same. I was so much happier before. Shame on you Sfakianos!

She was wonderful She spent over an hour going over my meds and medical history. She wrote referrals for the specialists I needed. Ordered labs, l8stened to me and asked all of the right questions! I'm so glad that I was lucky enough to get an appointment with her fairly quickly. I would definitely recommend this group!
