We went to a Sunday matinee to see A Couple of Blaguards presented by The Tavern Brawlers. It was a two-man show with very funny stories and songs. The theatre seats about 80. The seats are a bit worn but comfortable enough for 2 hours. They sell alcoholic and nonalcholic beverages and snacks. They have a full year calendar of shows scheduled so be sure to check it out. There is a parking lot in back and street parking as well. There are plenty of eateries to choose from if you want to walk around Old Town Newhall before or after the shows. This theatre has been here a very long time and hosts many different local artist events. You can buy your tickets on line with a small handling fee or buy them inside at the box office. It is open seating on first-come first-served basis. I emailed the info email address with a question and they got back to me right away. This is a small, quaint and entertaining place to check out in the near future!

Every piece is bold, energetic, full of life and motion- everything from abstract representations of nature, to glittering eye candy, to light shining through intricate paper cut outs, to fine art paintings that connect you to something beyond. The gallery's namesake Virga, who is the owner and a featured artist, is a delight as well. She's a proud, fiery person and her work is pure genius. I loved my time spent in Virga Gallery, and tried to really slow down and understand each piece- which I really recommend doing. You must not have had very many experiences with potential customers. Most art galleries I have been too, either clearly state that no pictures can be taken of the art or they do not have a sign and they don't mind. Yours, however is very particular. You do not have a clearly posted sign but you do have an opinion! I guess it's the worst of both worlds.
