My experience at Revolver Gallery was absolutely amazing! Revolver Gallery specializes in showcasing the most beautiful Andy Warhol artwork I have ever seen. The gallery itself is stunning, both inside and out. It's incredibly clean, pristine, and features a large collection & selection of Andy Warhol's artwork and artifacts, it feels more like a stunning museum than a gallery. I was thrilled to be there, and I couldn't help but take photos to capture the moment, unfortunately Yelp has a limit so I couldn't post the best ones! From the very start, the team stood out with their professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency. Initially, I called just to inquire, but their incredible knowledge of Andy Warhol's work quickly became evident, starting with Ron and Melanie and ending with Randy. Hard to give Revolver Gallery anything less than 5 stars! I live in Austin, TX. and my experience was with Revolver was internet and email related. I espressed an interest in a certain Warhol piece via email and Ron, the owner, was quick to respond. I asked that it be framed a certain way and he had Melanie at the gallery coordinate this. Melanie kept me informed every step of the way and within 2 weeks they had the framing done and the artwork shipped to me by FedEx next morning delivery. Included was a comprehensive book on Warhol and the market. The crating of the artwork was as professional as I've ever seen. They treated me, someone they've never met and was buying a relatively inexpensive Warhol piece, as if I was their only customer. What more can one ask for? Now I'll be on their web site several times a week looking for my next Warhol purchase with them. So, an easy 5 stars. read more

Revolver Gallery is a bit of a pain to email the gallery to make reservations in advance, but certainly worth the effort to see Andy's work (that's if you're a fan) or intend to purchase a piece or two. If you have a couple thousand dollars to blow, treat yourself to an Andy Warhol, Why not?!? As 95% of the gallery is Andy Warhol items with a film/documentary about Andy playing and the remainder of 5% of artwork are by a few other artists who's names I didn't bother to take note of. Revolver Gallery is a small gallery with a handful of youthful-appearing "working" staff around, to make sure guest to the Revolver don't touch stuff (I am assuming). As the staff, hardly seemed docent-esque as one girl felt so free with herself and secure with her job, as she appeared to be stretching on the ground for whatever reason I did not bother to find out. There was one or two, older individuals who seemed to have great knowledge about Andy's pieces as I overheard their discussions with other guest, who were inquiring to perhaps purchase certain pieces. With other free galleries located in the area and free small lot for parking available, a trip to see Revolver Gallery is certainly worth the reservation-hassle. read more

Ron who owns/runs the gallery took out the time to talk to me personally to answer my questions, be honest about what options would be best, and was patient with explaining things. He's been emailing with me answering my questions on and off a few times over the past 6 months and accommodated a phone call as well. Extremely friendly and frank about the facts, he sends out a great newsletter and sent me a market report too. There's a ton of chicanery surrounding Warhol's works and the market for them. I feel confident trusting Ron about it, he even offered to give me advice about anything I might consider buying from another source, he just wants to make sure people make smart choices about a market that can be full of fakes that can be hard to spot. This is certainly not my first Yelp review; I've left a couple hundred before, but I had to change accounts because of hackers. While planning a one-day trip to L.A., I really wanted to check out the Andy Warhol paintings at Revolver Gallery because of its good ratings. So I emailed them using their webpage's contact link indicating that I was interested in buying something and would like to make an appointment. I explained that I wanted to look at and buy an Andy Warhol for my daughter as a housewarming gift. I also specified the date I would be in Los Angeles and a 3-4 hour time range when I would be available to look around the gallery. I received NO reply to my request. A few days later, I sent another message, this time to their email address, reminding them that I hadn't heard back from them, and I still received NO reply. I found this to be disrespectful. Revolver Gallery apparently wasn't interested in making an appointment for me to view their gallery (and I'm fully vaccinated). Did they expect me to view their offerings online and pay $$$ for something I had not seen in person? Revolver, don't bother answering this Yelp post. I do not intend to contact you again and will simply buy my housewarming gift from a more welcoming place. read more

How wonderful for Revolver to now be at Bergamot and to launch out with this extensive and colorful Warhol exhibit for us all to get lost in. Warhol's circle of artists spanned such dynamic range and influence that one can only hope that a part 2 would focus not on Warhol himself, but by those he touched that would go on to produce arguably even more critically acclaimed works of art than that of their muse himself, such as Basquiat and the Velvet Underground to name just two. I am a bit obsessed with Warhol, having seen his work in Los Angeles, New York, and Paris. I've never seen anything like the collection Revolver Gallery has, though. It was a remarkable experience as they have so much of Warhol's work in one place. Warhol was brilliant in marketing his work and I believe Revolver Gallery's tours are an extension of this genius. The concept of only allowing small groups to view this extensive collection gives each guest to have an unobstructed view of an American Icon's brilliance. Great collection with some fun interactivity included. Because there's a reservation process (which not everyone loves), that means it's never too crowded and you get plenty of time and space with the art and can take photos without a lot of people in them. This was an amazing exhibit and experience! As a lifelong Warhol fan I enjoyed this show twice, once when it first opened and a second time on closing day. Comprehensive and interesting collection that showed a multitude of Warhol's work spanning his career. I loved the intimacy of the setting and how you were able to really view the art in a more relaxed environment. Standouts included Warhol's car, the Reigning Queens Series, John Gotti and of course the iconic Cow Prints. Can not say enough about this wonderful show! read more

My mom was visiting me so I took her to Beverly Hills to walk around and check out all the sights. We ate at CPK, and walked around some more. We walked by Revolver Gallery and she noticed some of the paintings and wanted to go inside. My mom, being from India, doesn't really have much knowledge of pop culture history haha. Either way, we went inside and looked around - she loved the paintings. Staff working there was super friendly, and gave my mom and I the rundown of Andy Warhol, his entire history, and pretty much a lesson in pop culture from his era, and how it tied into his work. I'm not much of an art guy, but from everything I learned, definitely looked up more, and finally understand all the Andy Warhol references in TV that i've been missing all these years, needless to say I was pretty ignorant as to the impact he had not just in the art world, but the world in general. Warhol would love this little hip gem tucked away in beverly hills. A quaint little studio full of hours worth of jaw dropping screen prints and originals. This place certainly knows how to update its windows and grab the attention of the nearby street walkers and coffee shop goers. Almost feels like I'm back in brooklyn in '68, sipping spiked darjeeling tea with bohemians and activists. This is what art is all about...being modernized and incorporated into capitalism america...and anyone interested in andy's works needs to stop by this place. Their catalog is impressive. Small gallery but it showcases a lot of Warhol's work. There's indicators on the floor where you should stand to get the best photo opportunity with his work as well. The employees here are pretty knowledgeable about the work and Warhol's life so if you're interested in learning more than just what's written on the wall, I'd recommend chatting them up. read more

I recently was tasked with liquidating the estate of a long time friend, who left some works by Andy Warhol. As someone with literally zero knowledge of fine art, I randomly selected the Revolver Gallery after an internet search to authenticate and appraise my lithographs. Ron and Chad were very professional, informative and thorough during their quite comprehensive inspection and condition assessment of my art. Ron was very transparent, and reviewed some recent comparable sales of similar works, and made me a very reasonable offer to purchase my art. The entire transaction was very pleasant, professional, and payment was prompt and secure. As a business owner myself, I know the Revolver Galley purchased my items with the intent of reselling them for a profit, but they were quite fair and took an item of responsibility off of my hands with me knowing they are being properly cared for and will eventually go to someone who will appreciate them for what they represent. I stopped by this gallery to check out Warhol's Cowboys and Indians series. Annie Oakley is probably my favorite mythical character from the portfolio. She has a great deal of history, and I was drawn to her colorful portrait. Definitely a must see since a full suite by Warhol or any other artist is hard to come by these days! I grabbed some lunch in Beverly Hills and noticed this place on the way back. First thing I noticed is that Revolver Gallery is a colorful (flower prints painted on the ceiling!), welcoming, and intimate space. The works are high-end, but there's no easier way to see such a large collection of Warhols up close and personal. Really adds to the Beverly Hills area, since it's casual and a nice place to stop in. Plus, it doesn't cost anything to look! The staff is friendly and responsive, making it easy to wander in and take your time appreciating the art. I've seen famous and rare works there, the gallery is always sourcing new stuff, and the gallery lends its works out for exhibits (like at the hotel L'Ermitage Beverly Hills). read more

Revolver is by far the best gallery I've been to, not just for Andy Warhol, but in general. It doesn't have the stuffy vibe that most galleries have, and the staff knows so much about Warhol and his work; they were so helpful. Ron, the owner, is really passionate about the work, which was super important to me. And their collection is 100% Andy Warhol, so it was a no-brainer when I was looking at places to go. I also found out that they buy work too, so you don't have to go through the whole auction process somewhere like Bonham's or Sotheby's. Honestly 10/10 experience.
