Wow ! Am I furious or what?…read more So I took a few items to the closet trading company branch in Westlake village for resell. One of them was a new 400$ red leather coat . Some items sold but the pricey leather coat didn't. I kept checking weekly to see the status. Suddenly yesterday the item disappeared off their site and my account. I called today and that's when I was taken aback. According to the sales lady they keep it for three months and then if you don't ask for it in writing at least a week before the three months expire then the item is literally theirs to keep. They don't even send you an e mail or text reminder . Just poof - gone! apparently they put it in small letters as part of their contract when you first consign but never actually tell these details to you in person. This is theft in broad daylight guys ! #closettradingcompany

They have an incredible variety and are very helpful in store and as brokers to find what you are looking for even if they don't have it in store. Great staff too! The store has a very welcoming atmosphere, very open feeling, not at all claustrophobic like some stores can be. Love the background music too, especially the jazz - keeps me in my happy place while treasure hunting. We love the Retail Therapy sessions held on the first Friday of every month, not only is there wine, cheese and crackers and sweets and treats, but the entire store is discounted 15% - that's always a welcome bonus. Who didn't love a discount?! My most favorite type of therapy. We've enjoyed getting to know the owners and some of the dealers who happen to be there when we are, they're helpful and informative. And on the QT, sometimes they authorize discounts - if they can - on the items in their booths, especially when you buy multiple items. I saw on their Instagram that the next Retail Therapy session will be a Christmas Party - we'll be there with bells on and bringing our shopping list! Highly recommended to others. And while you're there, there's a number of antique stores there on Sherman Way - they're gradually working to revitalize the Historic Antique Row in Canoga Park. 2 new stores have been born out of the dealers in Main Street Vintage - check out Artfully Made (Sherman Way, all handmade items) and Vintage Home (Owensmouth, just opened 11/2/25), plus the owners also have Retro Relics 2 doors away from Main Street Vintage - another great selection there! Hope you have as much fun as we do. And visit the Real Juicery on Remmet for great juices, smoothies and bowls (more great owners!). My favorite is that they don't stick to a single particular style, so you can find basically anything of any style here. The prices are really fair too in my opinion, I have seen RH items being sold for like 80% off of the retail price. The staff here are also the best. The woman who I think is either the owner or manager is always so sweet and kind every time I come and she always makes sure I leave with everything I need, plus she always makes one of the other employees assist with putting everything in my car instead of having me do it myself. I met one of the vendors at the Rose Bowl swap meet after buying a Late Registration tour shirt and was lucky enough to get their instagram for this shop. (@playoffssfv) So with plans to try to do some trading I packed some of my tees i wished to swap in a bag and came in on a Thursday around opening. Upon entering I was greeted by 2 of the vendors and I had quickly explained that I had some clothes that I'd think the vendors would see to be great trades. After their selections of which tees of mine they were interested in, I was lucky enough to get offers for credit at their personal racks set up within the store. They both had great taste and a lot of selection to sort through. In the end, I traded 5 tees that no longer fit me for 3 new fresh and colorful hits to add to my rotation. I think they gave me fair credit for what I had brought in, considering my 3 picks from their racks were priced at a total of an $80 value had I not traded anything in. Overall the style of clothes for sale at the vintage mall that is Playoffs were grunge, modern/vintage street wear, sports teams, and a lot of other off the wall pieces. You won't have to dig for long to find something you like if you're into pop culture. I'd return to shop, and even eventually try to trade again with other vendors there.

I just wasn't wearing it and knew I would enjoy it more as a necklace. WELL.....they do beautiful work. Family business for decades. I found them by accident while I was at a nearby business. The pricing was fair, the work was outstanding, and when I wasn't 100% thrilled with the chain I had ordered, we had a full discussion to get to the bottom of the issue. Simple fix, just a bit too shiny and needed a bit more antiquing. Malila said, We want you to be happy and not just okay with your purchase. Within a day or two, the chain was antiqued more, and it's now perfect! Great experience, and now I have beautiful new memories of my mom's jewelry.
