It was not possible for me to accrue an ongoing balance or debt. The PT was very nice but misdiagnosed me. He kept asking me to continue therapy for a total of 3 months ( I questioned this many times during my visits.) This I have now learned is excessive. I finally convinced him to talk to my Dr. about a MRI to confirm a tear which he suspected. This tear could not have been fixed with additional PT visits so why continue to wait. He agreed, I had the MRI and he was wrong. I did not get a call from Choice Physical Therapy until a month later. After 6 months from the onset of therapy I received a bill for over $300 dollars. They said it's what my insurance didn't cover. I since have gone to be properly diagnosed with a bulging disc. I called the Choice Physical Therapy, asked for consideration on the balance due to their office staff misinforming me, not treating my condition properly, and prolonging treatment to incur what is now a burdensome debt. I received a voice mail saying " we don't give discounts". It is unfortunate that I was not heard regarding my out of pocket or my symptoms. For me, it was a painful and expensive waste of time.

I had experienced several years of chronic pain in my lower back, and difficulty with sitting. Many doctors told me to simply live with it. I spent TWO hours on my first visit learning, trying different methods of treatment, and talking through my issues. During my visit I received a thorough exam where Schuler checked off boxes and rated how I performed for each step. I laid on a rolling/heated massage bed and received stem therapy on my neck (he even asked if I wanted to stay on it a little longer). I performed some stretches on a medicine ball. Then, I laid on bed and received stem therapy on my back with heating pads. With a handheld machine Schuler massaged my back before my adjustment, which he used an instrument for instead of manipulating with cracking my back. Schuler is old school and he goes by the book - literally pulled out a textbook and showed me the exact steps it says to take for an exam and he did all of them. If you are too busy and just want someone high tech with no personality don't come here. If you want someone who cares about you and the practice deeply, who is willing to educate you, and who lets you decide your care then come here.

After several unexpected surgeries over the past few years, I'm truly a klutz and was looking for some guidance and refinement as I'm back into a regular fitness routine. You book your first appointment through Mindbody, I was able to find a Saturday morning appointment due to my work schedule. When I came for my visit Dr. Erik was very friendly, I completed new patient forms, health history and medicines. Then Erik took the time to listen to me for my concerns. He had me walk, squat, lunge to observe my function and then provided guidance on making some corrections, as several of the surgeries were in abdominal area resulting in that area being weak, so first priority is strengthening the area through breathing exercises, simple back and abdominal work - little moves, but you sure felt it. Then you moved to the studio area where he observed more moves and gave you corrective movements. Also my left knee has popped since I played soccer since I was a kid, he gave me a simple solution to help stop the popping since then just one subtle move has made quite a difference. After the visit he sent me links to videos to help me continue with my form & function. I was also able to schedule a future visit right there with Dr. Erik.
