Dr. Andrews likes to take a conservative approach, which I appreciate. The last thing I want to do is incur unnecessary costs or recovery. In my experience, she does not overprescribe, she does not ignore the patient's preferences, and she seeks long-term improvement. I first saw Dr. Andrews in 2001, and when I decided to get my knee problems resolved, I looked and was so happy to see that Dr. Andrews still practiced here in the area. He said we could also possibly fit in an Epidural if I thought it was necessary. We had to get this handled quickly as I am having shoulder replacement on NOV 7. Check in was quick, prep was even quicker, and the entire time my son was in surgery I knew what stage he was in. This review is for the billing department, OrthoAlliance. First, make sure any payments you made…read moreare applied to your statement. Over $1,000 paid wasn't shown on my statement. When they apply it, make sure you get an itemized copy "PRIOR" to making a payment. When I received my revised bill, they applied part of the $1,000 to an item that insurance covered and had already paid100%. I had to ask for "another" statement, and it was "wrong". I had to walk the billing person through the payments I made and what those payments covered. They spread your payment throughout multiple items. I paid each bill (online) that I had in my hand at the time in FULL, as long as it matched up with my insurance coverage, which I check online before paying. When the next bill came, it showed some of the line items had a balance. So I called "again" and finally got it worked out. I've NEVER had an invoice like this, where they take your payment made and instead of applying it to the item for the exact amount due, they decide to spread the love around. Why?? My guess it there were other changes, but I haven't received the invoice yet. But again, Why?? Makes no sense.
