I sent requests for bids to 5 companies on Yelp and 4 of them kind of blew me off... ya know... send us pictures, send us your personal info... blah blah without any commitments to come out and look. Zack was straight forward and said when he could be out to take a look with a free estimate (sat morning). He was running a little late when he came out but was courteous and notified me ahead of time that he'd be a little late... so no big deal. He was very reasonable with his pricing (I had already looked up the pricing for parts before he got there) and was very happy he didn't try to up sell me or pad his labor costs. I said: great, when can you come out? Expecting him to say in a week or two (like the other pool companies usually do). Nope. He said: Monday afternoon. I was thrilled with the quick timeframe. He showed up on Monday and got to work. He got the light replaced first (which was no easy task... the ledge on that side of the pool is raised several feet higher which makes it difficult to access the light without getting in the water). Not only did he replace the bulb but also the housing and cable that ran under the cement to the light switch. Then he took out the 30 year old heater (that sucker weighed over 100lbs easy) and it's 100 degrees out today... also not an easy task. He fixed the pipes and then started working on the motor. He got that installed and the thing is sooo much quieter than the old one. As we were looking at the pump we noticed some water leaking from one of the connections into the pump. So he says that he can fix that (mind you, it almost 6pm... I'm sure he wanted to go home and get out of the heat, but he took the extra step to give exceptional service). He went to his truck found a new seal and fixes the connection. Didn't even charge extra for it. Really, really happy with his performance! World class service! Will definitely use again!

Had a company come and see where it was leaking and there was a leak in the pipes under the pool, we would've never had a liner if we knew these were leaking and a big hole would've happened where the light was that they never came back and installed lawyer said their license has expired. and phone numbers have been disconnected, but they have my money.

The pool tiles along the top of the vinyl that he recommend, started falling off into the pool in less than a year. This has led to water leaking behind the liner and me having to buy a marine caulking to try and seal all the way around the pool. 3/4 of the tile is gone, so you see the wall which looks really bad. The 2 kids he used to install the tile said they had never done tile work before. After talking with other pool companies that I've had come and give me estimates, have said that this was some of the worst craftsmanship they've seen and that a reputable pool company doesn't ask for money until the work is done. This is one of many issues I have been dealing with since 2019. PLEASE save yourself the stress and anxiety that I deal with daily because of this horrible experience. I never leave reviews, good or bad, and always try and do everyone right. But this has scarred me physically and financially.

If you're considering Trident Pool Services, you need to know how they actually operate when things…read morego wrong. There is zero proactive communication. I was not informed ahead of time that they would no longer be servicing my area. Instead, I was left waiting, assuming service would continue or be rescheduled. When I reached out about missed service, I was told it would be rescheduled. That never happened. Days later, I received a message saying they no longer service my area. No accountability, no urgency, just a delayed afterthought. Then came the refund process. Again, slow and reactive. I had to follow up multiple times to get clarity on when my money would be returned. When a company makes the decision to stop servicing an area, that should trigger immediate communication and prompt refunds. That didn't happen here. This isn't just poor customer service, it's disorganized and disrespectful of people's time and money. At a minimum, this company needs to: * Notify customers in advance if service areas are changing * Honor rescheduling commitments instead of disappearing * Process refunds quickly and transparently without customers having to chase them Right now, the experience feels like you're the last to know anything, and that's a problem.
