Especially when his partner denied my husband samples that were in plain eyesight. The same partner that misdiagnosed my husbands strep throat. My husband could not swallow and was drooling with a raging fever. I had to call an ambulance because he was at risk of choking. Nonetheless, he was hospitalized for 2 days on IV antibiotics. Whatever negative reviews you see on him I don't believe. He is the ONLY doctor I've seen who takes the time, gives the patients many many tests to make sure he rules out certain diseases and causes and explains things thoroughly. I have seen plenty of doctors in my life time including Northwestern and he beats them all. There is no comparison. He does refer his patients to specialists if need be and they are all good referrals, not as caring as him though. He has a "human touch" which a lot of doctors lack. I probably in my lifetime have been to 30 doctors and there is no comparison. Dr. Geohas does research as well and this enhances his practice. I only started this review as I saw this Yelp site, but really the review is more about the Advocate Medical Group housed here (and they have their own Yelp review site). There's not much more to say about the facility itself except it's convenient with good hours, and has a big convenient parking lot that is often filled! Our PCP, Dr. Ellen Aleksandrovich, is the best and she is very competent, caring, communicative, proactive, and empathetic to the patient's needs. Their systems also work great and responsively without long waits - systems meaning phone calls or messages, their PA staff, their website which is used for both medical info storage as well as messaging, their billing and payments system, their appointment scheduling, their lab appointments system and staff, etc. They also have several specialists based here that we see, and they have the same support system. We routinely get bloodwork and sometimes imaging done here. They are part of the Advocate Medical Group and in turn associated directly with the excellent Advocate Lutheran General Hospital nearby. In our experience, it's a big thumbs up for Nesset Pavillion and the Advocate Medical Group staff here.

I was forced to go because I ran out of a script & they told me I had to see the doctor first before I could get it refilled. I would just as soon take none of these drugs (I mean I'm not even getting high from them ) As it turns out its been over 1 year since my last physical so I figured I might as well have the tests done. I guess the fact that I have insurance they figured out they might as well order everything deluxe and do Lab Tests, EKG, Ultrasound (Am I pregnant ?). Anyway 2 hrs seems a bit excessive. The attending resident doctor did a very good job and was very through, but the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. When I arrived the girl asked me if I could hold on for a minute. I waited for about 5 minutes and finally realized there were a couple of other people that could have checked me in. When I left there were only 2 people. As I walked out the first person just walked away and didn't say anything so I checked out with the other person.

I already had a referral to go and see a GI doc, but thanks to his probing about my chronic GI issues he had the doc do two tests instead of the one that they had initially suggested. Thanks to his thorough discussion and ordering of additional tests they were able to finally figure out and treat an issue that I had been experiencing for years! I finally felt listened to as a patient. I found this refreshing and encouraging. My husband also sees him and I would recommend him to anyone in the North Shore network in or around the Chicago/Evanston/Skokie area. Nice office staff too!

In my opinion, his…read morelackadaisical approach to my healthcare combined with the staffs inefficiency and rudeness is not only a disservice to his patients, but may also put there health in serious jeopardy. Perscriptions requests from patients or pharmacies are often not addressed on a timely basis, but according to his office it's always the pharmacies fault. On a recent visit when I indicated I was having ongoing pain in my left knee the doctor told me it was a combination of old age and that i was doing too much yoga. A trip to Immediate Care led to a diagnosis of a torn miniscus. Prior to that the doctor ordered a CT scan. Proper paperwork was not filed with BCBS at that time. Now because he's changed practices, they cannot refile the claim, so I have to pay the bill. I would schedule his first appointment on Saturday to get in and out quickly, but he always ran at least 5 - 10 minutes late - no respect for others time. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor.
