I never imagined that another woman would be present when my husband and I conceived our first…read morechild. My assumption was that most couples in our position, armed with little more than the storied pastimes of birds and bees, set about creating the family of their dreams the old fashioned way. When it became clear that we would need some help from science, our research led us to Dr. Anne Borkowski and her team at North Shore Fertility... angels whose lasting impact on our fertility journey could never be put sufficiently into words. How do you begin to thank... ...a doctor who makes herself available at a moment's notice to respond with exactly what you need to hear, when 8 rounds of in vitro fertilization (IVF) are taking an emotional toll? ...a doctor who walks out to the parking lot in the snow to update your husband on the success of a given procedure, when a global pandemic prevents him from joining his wife in the office? ...a nurse who regales you with her hopeful story of an egg and sperm getting all dressed up for a very important date, when she knows that the rollercoaster is almost too much to bear? ...a team that sends you home with a nebulous ultrasound photograph of a transferred pre-embryo, when it may be the only thing that gets you through the coming days? Perhaps you simply say "thank you" and hope that experience tells them how grateful you truly are -- how your lives will be forever changed for having been cared for by such special, loving people.

Anne Borkowski is one of the best fertility doctors in Illinois. We tried one other doctor and the…read moreexperience was horrible compared to the amazing service Anne provided. She is very personable and extremely knowledgable about all the procedures, medications and options. During our process to have a child we had several questions and concerns that occurred at odd hours of the day and night. Anne gave us her personal cell phone number to call or text anytime. Wow! That is service. After all of the attempts to have a child Anne Borkowski helped us conceive our beautiful daughter and she was born on January 8th 2008. Thanks Anne. We love you. God bless you.

I really like my doctor. Liked him especially when he was with North Shore. The were lots of perks…read morethat came with that group. For example, quick online results. Since my doctor signed onto Orchard medical group, I've been sent a handful of letters all telling me that I need to start paying $100 annually to cover, "administrative costs." here's what it doesn't cover: quick, online results; speedy responses for phone calls; efficient, timely communication with pharmacies; means of getting hold of the group other than direct phone calls. Sounds like I'm paying $100 out-of-pocket to get worse service. Needless to say, I gladly let them let go with me at the end of the year. Love my doctor, but there are lots and lots of groups that don't charge administrative costs for bad administrative services. As a matter fact, most places offer much better administrative service for nothing.

My wife and I were treated for several decades by Dr Kashian, a wonderful primary care physician…read more He announced his retirement by letter near the end of 2025 and no provision was made for his patients. We got a letter and asked for referrals. None were forthcoming. Apparently his former partners are regarding his patients as new patients. And none of the physicians will see us even though we paid the requested concierge fee for the PRACTICE in 2024 and 2025. Our physician friends have told us that typically during a retirement, patients are transitioned to other doctors in the practice. Not this time. So we're urgently trying to locate an acceptable primary care physician for my disabled wife and I after several decades as patients of Orchard Medical. The physicians left in Orchard Medical really don't care about anyone but their individual patients. They ought to be ashamed.
