I went with "Andy and Me" because they were the only auto glass repair in the area that had an OEM windshield in stock for my Jeep with open appointment availability. I use quotations because this company operates as "Mobile Auto Glass Y Mas" based out of Freedom, CA not as "Andy and Me Auto Glass" from Seaside. With this change in branding is a whole other Yelp page full of reviews. I thought it was strange to be advertising online as one company that may or may not exist while operating as another. I was given a window of 1-3 pm and the technician called me at 2:11 pm to let me know he'd be arriving in about 15 minutes and confirmed the address. The windshield replacement took about 20 minutes and looks great. My 4-star review is based mostly on the inconsistency in company branding and communication in regard to payment. I received a verbal quote over the phone when I scheduled the appointment but never received an e-mail or any type of confirmation with an invoice of expected costs for parts and labor. After the windshield had been replaced, I called the number on the Mobile Auto Glass Y Mas van to make a payment at which point I was sent a link via text message to pay on my phone. The amount I was originally verbally quoted was not inclusive of tax and the final total was higher than I had thought it would be. Additionally, the total included a credit card processing fee (it was removed from my transaction due to the miscommunication in price). I would have appreciated a confirmation e-mail and an itemized invoice with expected parts and labor totals prior to the service being performed. All in all, this was the shop that had my windshield in stock, answered the phone promptly, and got me a mobile appointment within 24 hrs of scheduling. The technicians were great, and my windshield is brand new. They are a great option for local residents who need a repair/replacement accomplished right away. read more

Best price i found in the whole monterey county, cheapest i found next to his quote of $210 was $310 and bigger companies like safelite was $450. He drove to my workplace to get it done and did an amazing job. I unfortunately had my windshield damaged twice but only paid $210 x2 compared to what i would've paid with the other people. People complaining about timing are crazy, when you go to the dentist or doctor do they see you at that exact time? no, because depending on the damage depends on the amount of time spent. I rather have him be late, do a good job and give me a fair price for the window. He also offered to help me repair my passenger window for free. If you don't believe me call him for a quote yourself after calling other places. read more

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS !!!! Wasted a whole month waiting for them to fix the window. Charged me $200 upfront then proceeded to take their sweet time getting to my car. Believe the negative reviews. A total lack of respect for schedule and other's time. They will charge you ahead of time and find parts from liquidators and make you wait over 10 days. The owner has no storefront and a habit of blaming the customer and straight up lying to get around their lack of commitment. They are just trying to get as many bills in a day as possible and there is no scheduling in place. Will never recommend it to anyone. read more

Terrible communication and left the job unfinished without a word. It started out fine at first and he did a decent job replacing the windshield. He didn't have a new rain sensor gel to put in though and had to order one and come back to finish the job. I had a follow up appointment scheduled with him and confirmed over text that he will be coming to do the sensor calibration and rain sensor gel install, but a couple days before the appointment I tried to text back to confirm and he just ignored my text. Calls were ignored and went to a full voicemail box. So of course the appointment slot comes and goes and he doesn't show up. So now I have to go find someone else to finish up his half assed work. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he had scammed me on the price of the windshield replacement either. I initially got a quote over the phone, and after the job was done, the guy asked me what I was quoted and then just charged me the amount I told him, saying he just wanted to make sure I was told the right number. Pretty sketchy in hindsight, but that was naive of me to fall for it. Find someone else to do your windshield replacements. read more

The rear windshield of our car shattered (still trying to figure out how, but that's another story). We contacted several auto shops and Andy & Me Auto Glass were very responsive. i found erick angulo through yelp !! few days ago, my rear back window has been shattered .. i called erick monday morning to see if they can get the job done& said he would come to me the next day . however, when he arrived (tuesday), he told me that my rear window was a different kind than what i told him (which i didn't know either) he figured out the problem, so he ordered me the right kind the same day & would arrive (wednesday). i did a $100 deposit the same day he ordered it& came back the next day at 4pm and got the job done within 30 minutes !! the only thing is that he will give you an estimated time when he will arrive, but just always call and see just in case .. keep in mind that they come to you and they can get a little behind working on other people, but they get the job done super fast !!
