Fantastic people to deal with. Ordered a Ric 4003S, since they were considerably cheaper than anyone else. Had very quick responses to my questions (thanks Jeff!), and it arrived a couple of days later via tracked UPS (for free). The bass is fantastic - setup really well, with the deluxe Ric hard case, all of the case candy, plus some nice freebies in the case too. Would definitely recommend these guys. I was told my guitar needed a set up and it would play much better. I said my first few frets are awfully low, I pointed at the frets. Wouldn't lowering the action cause problems here? The answer was, "no it will be fine." Picked it up 2 weeks later. After a week I took the guitar back and complained: Was told the humidity in my house had changed the neck. I have climate control on my furnace, humidity 42%. 40-50% ideal. When I said the guitar was buzzing at the 1st 3-4 frets, Andy said, "humidity." I said, "the guitar was like this when I brought it home." Finally he said, "the guitar needs a fret job, we don't do fret jobs." "Why didn't you tell me that when I first brought it in? "Why was I told the set up would solve my problems ? Andy, "Well, we don't do fret work." I think not telling the truth is as bad as lying. Andy finally adjusted my neck, the strings stopped buzzing, but I think this reversed any benefits I had gained by lowering the action with a $100. set up. If you don't mind dealing with an arrogant know-it-all that will not admit to being wrong, Andy is your man. read more

I purchased a vintage 1961 fender Strat that Andy listed on his website and on reverb as all original. I called him before purchase and confirmed the guitar was all original. After receiving the guitar within five minutes I realized that the guitar was not all original. The three way switch was changed sometime probably in the seventies with a five way switch. After calling Andy he still tried to say it was a three way switch until I told him I had the photos of the switch numbers. He agreed right away to take the guitar back so I paid the $300+dollars to for shipping plus insurance to ship it back. I had also paid an extra $100+ for original shipping so I could get it overnight to reduce the risk of damage. When I received the check back from Andy he deducted his shipping plus a charge from his bank for the funds I wired him. I'm out over $400. Because he was not accurate at all in his description of the guitar. I feel he should have paid the cost of shipping due to his inaccurate listings. He re-listed the guitar correctly stating it has a 5way switch. read more

Retail stores including all music shops have been open for a couple of weeks since COVID-19 restrictions have lifted. After trying the shop's phone number 5 times and leaving messages, I drove out from my home to pick up the Beatles Fab Gear Book the owner authored. I went up, shop still closed. Since the owner was there, I asked him through the window if he would sell it to me I had face protection etc on. He said no, go online. He literally could've placed it outside the door in a bag like curbside pick up, but that was an inconvenience for him. Sale lost. I've heard from numerous friends what a jerk the owner is but really he's just a joke. I will never go there again. HOG for life. read more
