The training here stands out immediately. Technique is a priority, and it's taught with precision and purpose. Every class is thoughtfully planned so each dancer is truly learning and progressing, not just going through the motions. You can see that same level of detail in everything else too--from well-organized picture days to beautifully executed recitals that feel seamless and special for every family involved. Nothing is overlooked. Now that my daughter dances here, she knows the expectation--hard work, focus, and pushing herself to be better every day. It's not just about dancing, it's about discipline and growth, and I love that she's being challenged in the best way. And the passion? It's everywhere. She has tried to implement ideas to add structure to the studio (which we all loved the idea of) but because she is so incredibly immature it has been more negative than anything. She talks terribly about parents and students she doesn't like (as if she doesn't think word gets around). She is quickly gaining the reputation of saying one thing and doing another. It's a shame because our kids have been dancing with each other for years and still have a passion for their craft. So we are forced to shut our mouths for the sake allowing our kids to dance with their friends they've become so close with over the years. Most of the parents are professionals and business owners themselves. And are genuinely shocked when they communicate with her. And even more shocked at how immature she is when she walks around the studio. For lack of better words, she's reminding us of everything we hated about high school. Please do yourself a favor and rethink placing your child in this studio. Go somewhere that you're comfortable allowing your child to spend a lot of time at. Because once they've established friendships and their place on a team it's nearly impossible to place them in a different studio. Thank goodness for most of the teachers there. But you better hold your breath if you get a teacher that's in cahoots with her because your child WILL loose their passion for all things dance. One more thing. They should've checked the tags for the costumes they charged $120 for last year. We know it was $9.89 from Shein. We ordered it to make sure and it was the SAME EXACT ITEM. Same tag and everything.

It was my first time at the theater at Innovation Square. Kind of an interesting place since it…read moreused to be part of Xerox so it's set up a little different than other performance halls. The theater itself was smaller than I thought. Maybe I'm just used to Kodak Theater on Ridge Road, which is much larger. But I like the more intimate experience. We bought tickets for an Amy Winehouse tribute band. They were excellent. The sound was great in there. We were in the first level left side of the stage. We parked right on the street so that was easy. But they do have a parking garage below and I'm not sure the cost. The theater itself is on the second floor of a building that overlooks a cool courtyard that's in between the theater and the old Xerox building which is now called Innovation Square. They had some good drink choices there, no food choices like cookies or anything, but that was OK. Overall, a very cool and good place to see a show. I'll definitely keep my eye out and come back in the future.

Parking is easy and felt safe at night. The opening act came off the stage and literally walked right in front of me while I was on the way to the bathroom. I got front row seats, and got them pretty easily. I also did the VIP before the show. They made us line up outside, which was weird because it was windy. But I don't think that had anything to do with the venue though. I stood center stage right under him for his whole show. That makes one happy fangirl. I have been a BSB and Nick Carter fan for years and years! This was by far the easiest venue I've ever been to see them, and the easiest it ever was for me to get the front row. If he comes back here, I will run back! :)
