If I could give zero stars, I would. Andy Gump should be ashamed of the way their employees treat guests with disabilities. On November 2, 2025, during Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights, near the Terrifier and Poltergeist houses, I had one of the most humiliating and discriminatory experiences I've ever faced. My wife is pregnant and disabled, and we both have legitimate ADA needs. She tried to use the ADA restroom, and the woman working for Andy Gump refused to let her in, saying it was "for wheelchairs only." My wife explained her medical condition involving her leg and back, but the woman argued with her for nearly 10 minutes before finally letting her use it. Absolutely disgusting. Then when I went to use the same ADA restroom, the male Andy Gump worker refused me as well, saying, "You look fine and can walk fine." I told him that ADA is for both visible and invisible disabilities, but he didn't care. He demanded proof, even though I have an ADA pass and was clearly wearing a leg brace. He laughed when I asked for a supervisor and said, "I don't work for Universal, I work for Andy Gump." He told me that in his eyes, "only wheelchairs count as disabilities." I even brought up veterans, cancer patients, and invisible conditions, and he flat-out said he didn't care. The level of ignorance and discrimination was shocking. I argued with this man for almost 15 minutes just to use a restroom that's legally required to be accessible. No one should have to explain their disability to a complete stranger to use a bathroom. The worst part is, this wasn't even the first time on another night, the same man told me the ADA restroom was "down," but then I saw him let a wheelchair user in right after. So it's clear he just didn't want to let me use it. Andy Gump, your employees are out of control. You are representing one of the biggest entertainment venues in the world, and you're letting your workers mock, discriminate, and humiliate disabled guests. It's 2025, and your staff still doesn't understand that ADA applies to all disabilities, not just people in wheelchairs. My wife left in tears, and I was beyond humiliated. You should be ashamed that your employees are allowed to treat disabled guests this way. I hope Universal Studios takes a hard look at who they're contracting, because Andy Gump clearly doesn't train or screen their workers properly. Andy Gump delivered a porta potty an inch away from my neighbor's property - she didn't order it - and 99% of the porta potty is illegally placed in the ally on a well-trafficked, public city street instead of the large front yard or a parking space in front of the property that ordered the porta potty. The porta potty gets used by homeless people throughout the night, and while homeless people should have a place to go to the bathroom, this wakes up neighbors whose bedrooms are next to the porta potty, which is unfair, especially since the property has a huge front yard where the porta potty could go. We haven't met the neighbors or contractor who hired Andy Gump to deliver the porta potty while their complex is getting painted so I called Andy Gump a few days ago and they said the neighbors would HAVE TO move the unit. It didn't move. I called back today and she said, well it's not Andy Gump's responsibility so there's nothing they can do, even though they illegally left it on city property. What an irresponsible company! No wonder they have terrible reviews. Since I didn't place the order they won't tell us how long we're stuck with it. Very poor customer service. We have rented a temporary fence from them with a privacy screen. The privacy screen had already disintegrated under the sun, its only been 5 months or so. When called and asked them to replace it, they have told me they are not responsible for this, and will have to charge 495usd to even come see what the issue is. We have also used Andy Gump when we need temporary fencing and privacy screens. I have to say we got lucky when we were initially connected with the Special Events Coordinator Leah Post. She has handled our account over the last two shows and is hands down one of the best. While our shows have been outside of their normal operational thinking, she quickly understood our needs and made us feel like we were her main priority. Whenever we encountered a maintenance issue with one of the porta potty's (or fencing repair) , someone from the company came out the same day. By the way, Rafael in the fencing department is amazing. If you are doing a special event and need that special touch...make sure you ask for Leah in Special Events. Update: They finally credited my account for all the issues and lack of service. It took about 6 months. I still feel like this could have been handled better but appreciate that they finally followed up. I adjusted my review up to 2 stars for their eventual adjustment. Mind you, they had promised to adjust the bill many months prior and just never bothered. All I asked was to be credited for the months when they DID NOT service the unit, but marked the card as if they did. And apparently it's really hard for them to clean these potties, because they never really did. Spending this much money for a porta potty means it should be clean and not stink immediately after they leave. It is not sanitary to use cold water to wash up a bathroom, plain and simple. ------------- The worst experience ever. I've rented a construction toilet for the past 6 months or so. Some of the issues I've had- A service crew that didn't empty the unit for a month and still stamped it clean every week. Claimed they gave me service credits and never did. Then charged late fees and double billed. Double billing and late charges for bills that were paid after credits were allegedly issued. Pumped the unit but didn't clean it for four months. Let toilet paper wet and rotting on the wall and floor multiple times. Didn't refill the toilet paper for weeks, it's locked so you can't change it yourself. Still hasn't issued credits from June. Refused to have supervisors contact me about all the issues. Billing is now saying they will pick up unit and decide how much more they will charge me. This company is not what they used to be. First time renting a porta potty for a private event. Leah was great in helping me get the popular VIP flushable single unit despite the minor hiccups. The unit itself was great but description is a bit misleading. The single unit is supposed to provide ~125 uses, which I interpret as flushes, but it comes supplied only with 1 pack of foldable paper towels (which only filled a quarter of the paper towel dispenser) and 2 toilet paper rolls to just fill the dual roll dispenser. I assumed extra supplies were provided since other competing vendors included extra supplies with unit. I called to inquire about the extra supplies post delivery but was just told that's the policy. Despite ordering/payment process being easy, delivery/pick-up was not as smooth. They don't provide a smaller time frame and just call when they are actually at the delivery site. Guests and I liked the VIP unit but I'd probably shop around a bit more before my next event. read more

Not worth the headache and poor customer service experience from Santa Clarita office. We ordered a porto with sink and it was delivered to our home for a family picnic. We were told the unit would allow 125 uses. We only had 25 people using it and after 2 days the foot flush peddle got stuck draining the water supply. We called to tell them their equipment was malfunctioning and the on-call person was obviously mad at us and told us it's his day off! So, if we don't agree to pay $559 then he's not coming to assess the situation. So we told they to come fix it because we were confident there is a problem with the unit. The actual driver, Alex, who came to fix and fill was friendly and told us there is a problem that was not our fault, great! Too bad the 3 other people we talked to on the phone really didn't care about our experience and told us it was our fault. Feels like they are running a game over there. The 'Manager' was argumentative and told me they have been in business for 60 years. So does that mean we need to pay for their faulty equipment? NO. After multiple conversations, and a string of emails, we finally got them to not charge us for the additional fees. Too bad we still had to pay for the rental, even though we didn't get the quoted 125 uses. Not gonna use them again for our events. They were so nice at the beginning when we were looking to use their services, but then got ugly and down right rude once we had an issue. read more

Terrible experience with this company. We have multiple different job sites where we are using portable restrooms, and I was very surprised at how unprofessional the supervisor was. Neighbors are complaining that there's a very bad sewage smell, and very unsanitary. Instead of helping, the supervisor aggressively tells me that the driver waited for you and you didn't let him access to your driveway. I called back the driver 2 minutes later, and he was already gone. There was plenty of space in the driveway for the driver to come in. It looks like someone decided to be a bit lazy that day. But anyway, there are different companies out there that would love to have our business. Will never use these guys again. I worked with Andy Gump for over a year and I would like to inform others of my very unpleasant experience so that this can be avoided. Working in construction, there are always issues that come up and it's how you deal with those issues that either make you build customers, or drive them away. Andy Gump most certainly will drive you away. Here is the scenario that unfolded since they probably will try to present their side to the story. I had a temp power pole installed through AG for over a year. They clearly disclosed that if the area isn't accessible by a truck, then they will have to install by hand, which carries an additional charge. When they installed the pole, they did not charge me for the hand dig, which confirmed to me that they were able to use their truck. (I was not on site during this) After they came to remove the pole, which was approximately 10 months later, I received a charge for the hang dig. When I called to talk to someone about this, the supervisor couldn't tell me why this occurred other than they must have needed to do it by hand. When I told him that nothing had changed at the site from when the pole was installed, he seemed confused. He said that he understood why I would be bothered at the charge and said he would look into it...the charge was for $125 and the total fees collected to date were probably over $2000. Two weeks later, I received a notice saying that they were turning this over to a collection agency, never a word back from the supervisor. When I called to talk to someone in the accounting department, she rudely dismissed me and actually hung up the phone while I was still talking. Maybe she's used to tracking down money and takes a hardline approach, but this is not appropriate given the situation. Obviously, this now became something that I wasn't going to accept. I proceeded to then talk to several other people in the acct team, all to basically insist that the fee needed to be charged because the site has changed. When I told them that it hadn't, they couldn't grasp that. They even sent s supervisor to the site to take pictures, though they didn't even capture the entire site. Therein lies my issue, they would rather spend money to send a supervisor to take pictures and fight a small charge like this, than see the customers perspective and agree to some kind of compromise. I will never work with Andy Gump again and I'd urge others to do the same. read more

Had a very unsatisfactory, unprofessional experience with this company. They delivered a locked porta-john, with the key taped to the exterior roof, where nobody could see it. None of the Gump employees told us where the key was. We found out AFTER our event. The Gump company is clearly not interested in taking responsibility for the poor service, or making it right. After weeks of back-and-forth, and clear explanations from my employees, Andy Gump still refused to bear any responsibility. In fact, Gump turned the bill over to a collection agency and we are now being harassed by them. I would not recommend this company at all. read more
