Years ago I attended a poetry event and art auction inside the store but, since moving away, I'm not sure those events are still a thing. I hope they are. I couldn't count the number of sunglasses I have purchased from here if I tried. I always leave with at least one pair, a book, and various other items whether a tote bag, t shirt, button, cards, etc. I hope the business continues to be successful and would love to the location even expand a bit if that's something the owner is interested in.

My fiance came looking for maybe a tie or pocket square to match my dark purple wedding dress, but also wanted to check out the Oxfords and suits. He ended up leaving with a perfect vintage suit that will only need minimal tailoring, a pocket square, a tie, as well as a casual shirt, all for less than the cost of renting a suit somewhere. Plus, gotta love supporting a shop like this -- in business 11 years and clearly going strong; there were 5 or 6 people shopping in there at the same time! And Richard was hopping from one to the next effortlessly. In addition to clothes, there are other vintage finds such as paintings/photos, cocktail accoutrements, and matchbooks. Richard himself works most days but said Sundays he has an assistant so that he can check out estate sales himself. He obviously takes pride in finding wonderful and unique pieces for his shop, and said that everything gets dry cleaned before selling (so it doesn't have the musty smell of some vintage shops). Pros were: - A lot of vendors! - A variety of items - lots of food trucks so you won't be hungry - Legitemately most of the items for sale were antiques and vintage along with some artisans and food merchants (coffee cakes, toffee etc). But not booths of 3D printed stuff. Cons were: - it seemed like whenever we were interested in inquiring about something, the vendor was not at their booth... - Prices were pretty high (especially in comparison to The Pec Thing which I just went to the previous weekend), and not every vendor was willing to dicker (I have never been to a flea market where this is the case unless an item is marked "Firm") - We arrived at opening and some of the vendors weren't set up yet. It had also rained the night before so a lot of the outside people had put tarps over their merch but items still got wet. Caveat emptor. Overall, it was worth checking out but we only bought one small item. Maybe next time!

On the plus side, if you're into vintage clothing (everything from band tshirts to vintage designer) you will love it. Guessing 50%+ of the dealers were fashion related. There were a few MCM places but honestly not much beyond that. I didn't expect to be accosted by window and gutter salesmen but here we are. The building is beautiful, there were a good number of food trucks and places to grab refreshments, and it was well organized. No WAY we're there anything close to 200 dealers - maybe half that? (If we don't count the gutter dudes) Not for me, but if you love vintage fashion, it's probably your jam.
