Everything is very pleasing to the eyes and completely satisfies my preferences in terms of fashion. This is the reason why it became my go-to shop. They feature a large selection of dresses in a variety of styles and price points. T he staffs? They are also friendly and willing to accommodate your needs. They really make sure that their customers are comfortable and constantly answer any queries that their customers have regarding the products that they sell. This boutique is really one of my personal favorites. I really like the dresses that are on display, I super wanted to try on every single one of them. Inside, there was a pleasant atmosphere as well. The interior is beautiful too. It was simple but sill stunning and beautiful. Because my friend Kylie has been raving about this boutique, I've decided to pay it a visit just last month when I'm in the neighborhood. I only recently became aware of this store through her recommendations. I went shopping and bought a heel as well as an elegant black dress. And I super like it! It is undeniably worth it to come back in this shop, and when I do so in the future, I will definitely be bringing along my closest friend. It is very likely that she will enjoy shopping here. I had recently stopped in to Standout Style to purchase some goodies, and was wearing this gorgeous snake ring I purchased there. Well, in a weird and seriously unfortunate series of events, my ring flew into the toilet as it was flushing... AS IT WAS FLUSHING, PEOPLE! Forget the humiliation and utter horror of having to reach into the toilet to retrieve it, my ring was halfway to Lake Michigan by the time I realized what was happening. I immediately reached out to Tamika and recanted my pitiful little story. I had only worn the ring three times... it was already a go-to to mix with midi rings... yadda, yadda, yadda. Well, today I received the most WONDERFUL message from Tamika herself: "Hi Kayla! I picked up another snake ring for you! I'll hold it for you in the back... Hope you're having a great day. :-) Tamika" If this is not an example of excellent customer service, I don't know what is. Everyone should check out Tamika's boutique for a diverse collection of pieces (sporty, funky, girly...trendy) in a large assortment of sizes (2 -18). While I am walking, I saw this shop and the dress that is in display caught my attention suddenly when I look at this area. This is really the only reason, why I came here lol. But I did not expect to love and look for other dresses inside the shop. My plan at first was to look closely to that particular dress and buy it if it's really good and affordable but I go home with 3 dress and 2 tops in my hand. I am really laughing at myself while I am going home cause I fell in the trap of this shop hahahhaa. I was really mesmerized by the interior of the shop. They are so organized and really clean inside. The staffs are quietly good too, they are asking what I need, what particular dress I want and also they are answering me in such a nice way if I have questions unlike other staffs in other shop lol. I'm a fashionista girl, so whenever I see a nice dress hanging inside a boutique, I will absolutely come inside and buy it as soon as possible. And as an easy target of a beautiful dresses inside a boutique, I easily got tempted to enter in this shop. Because I saw a beautiful dress hanging inside and I said to myself that I will buy it and will not pass the opportunity that day to buy that dress. And yeah, you guess it right, cause I bought it as soon as I entered, it has a leaf like design In front, just minimalist. The color is fantastic too, it got my attention the most too because it is my favorite color. The price is affordable too, so, I bought another one because I still have budget and it' s my payday so yeah, I'm treating myself by buying those beautiful dresses. I went looking for a dress for a family reunion banquet and Tameka, the proprietor was very friendly and helpful, yet not pushy. I call it a Goldilocks experience...just right. The inventory is a nice variety of casual and dressy attire, and there were a lot of cute pieces. I did find a cute dress and some accessories. The only downside is that it was a tad bit warm in the boutique. Maybe a couple of oscillating fans would help circulate the air a bit. Other than that, this boutique is great. I'll continue to shop at Standout Style Boutique, because I DO like to standout from the rest! ;-) read more

I really liked Standout Style when it started out in the Lakeview area but the new Bridgeport location....WHOA! Such a great space. I love the vibe when I walk in, the flow is right and I really like what Tamika curates for her boutique. Being the stylist that she is makes her business what it is. I have a few tops from here that rank among my faves in my closet. I cannot imagine that anyone would regret shopping here and furthermore, I think her location is right on and I would not be surprised if more vibrant businesses start booming on that strip of Morgan. read more

I attended a makeup workshop event at this boutique today. It was an amazing event by LaTasha Benn and it was the perfect place for it. We had a wonderful time and the store was open to us to shop afterwards (also open to public) - my girlfriend and I purchased a few unique and stylish pieces along with some jewelry. The owner was pleasant and extremely helpful! We walked to Antique Taco afterwards for a seasonal apple-cinnamon margarita.
