I made two different appointments for a technician to come to my home, measure and give me estimates for as window replacements. Technician did not show up the first time. When I called asking where he was, I was told he had an emergency window issue with someone else. We made an appointment for the next day, and he didn't show up or call for that one either. called me twice to dicsuss payment. My son was in the hospital and I was not available to answer their call. I wasn"t sure whether my company would cover the glass. However, they cancelled my appointment today becausee their only(?) tech's' car wasn't working. What???? don't you have a car he can borrow? This is certainly not a good business model. Andy's was charging me $464 to replace the glass. Luckily, I fired them, called another company who can fit me in today and is only charging $325. I recently had my windshield replaced at Andy's. The front desk people were very responsive and courteous. I got an appointment within 1 day of my initial call. The windshield install was finished quickly and the work was fine. The reason for my 3 star rating is the installers lack of attention to detail. When I returned home with my car I realized that my dash, steering wheel and even inside door panels were filthy and spattered with mud from the windshield install process. Also, they had not transferred the oil change sticker from my old windshield onto the new one so now I don't know when my next oil change is due. And when the sun finally came out, it was apparent that they hadn't cleaned the new windshield either. I've had a few windshields replaced in my life at different companies but have never experienced such poor follow through in finish work. It's worth a lot to me in my own time and goodwill if I don't have to clean up my own car when its returned to me. read more

They are great! The guy came over to my house to fix the windshield. He replaced the entire windshield. Everything was done with less than an hour. I did have to come back in person to the shop to get parts of the car fit in right. And they cleaned the car for me. The staff was very courteous and the owners are very sweet. I have my two kids with me and they were very kid friendly. Today I was driving down the highway and got a rock chip in my windshield. I called up the owner and she told me to come in right away. I came in for the rock chip and it was fixed in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend this small local business. read more

Took both our vehicles in to have windshields and tint replaced. Staff was so friendly and we love that it is family owned!! Job was done quickly and looked amazing. This is my first experience with Andy's. Price was very reasonable. Christina, the service representative was friendly and knowledgeable. They provided a free in-house measurement, even making a template so the glass would fit the tabletop perfectly. Dale delivered the glass today. He was very professional and made sure that the glass set evenly on the table, using plastic tabs between the tabletop and glass. The same day I called I was able to go down there, get my front windshield replaced, both of my front side windows, with tint replaced and I was only there an hour and a half they are so quick, efficient, and Absolutely Amazing. My experience with an American glass is this I waited a very long time to have windows put in my home approximately 2 1/2 weeks The guy who came out in did the estimate wanted to be paid as a side job I agreed and in he never showed to put the windows in Next Ihad to recall Andy's American glass Let them know exactly what happened that 1 of their employees Tried to pick me up as a side job And then when I agreed they never showed So I had to reschedule which was a week later to have the windows put in they came today they said they would be here Andy Levin AM did not get here until 3:30 p.m.Which is another waste of time they are very slow in untimely but the job is done very well thank you I guess I should say Andy's American glass What I recommend you as the company of choice if I know someone with a broke last issue yes because it was done properly I won't wear them how slow you are though yeah I think you should be Re funding money because of the time I Lost waiting on us to come put a the windows in thank you again the job was great I appreciate you good day read more

I have been dealing with a "mystery leak" inside the back of my car since last March. Since we are in for rain for the next couple of months I really needed to get the leak fixed pronto! I can't say enough great things about how great Andy and Deborah were to work with. They took the time to listen, test and finally fix the leak! Since we couldn't tell where the water was coming in, it took some sorting out and process of elimination. They initially did not charge me to test my car for leaks which was great because they could have charged for every little thing they did. I cannot recommend them highly enough. My wife and I recently moved from Phoenix to Tucson and moved into a house built in 2000. With a house 17 years old, comes some repair work and we were referred to Andy's American Glass from Window Depot. We have some window latches that were broken and needed replacement and after I searched Amazon (I also work for Amazon) high and low for window latches, security latches, everything you could possibly think of, I found nothing and reluctantly headed into the store. When I arrived at the store, the people were absolutely the best - super friendly and eager to help. Deborah found the window latch I needed only she informed me they were $35 a piece; when I said I needed 5 she said she was going to do me a favor and cut the price by $10 to $25 a piece...wow, what amazing business acumen I thought!! I shelled out the $135, and Debora informed me they would be in 3-5 days, and she would call me...I left the store feeling good....fast forward 2 weeks...I finally got the call on Friday December 29th that my latches had come in, but I wasn't able to get to the store to pick them up until today, January 2nd. I snatched up the window latches and headed home but on my way I noticed a website on the packaging. I jumped on my computer and typed in the part number on the website and it was called a "sash lock". The PLPCI.com site also had a link to "buy on Amazon"...this ought to be interesting...click....the "Prime-Line Products F 2756 Sash Lock, Diecast Construction, White, Used on Single Hung Aluminum Windows" was a measly $5.77 each...that means at $35 Deborah marked it up 6 times, and by doing me a favor she only marked it up 4 times....now, granted I work for a HUGE company, I understand profit and loss, but I also understand bad business and this is just bad business. PS - I ordered 4 more sash locks today and used Amazon's same day service, they arrived before 9PM tonight :-0...thanks Deborah. read more
