We settled below the 200.00 mark but over all with dump fees being around 45.00 bucks and getting a dumpster delivered is 350.00 you can see why I went for 3 stars. I have used Andy's Hauling twice already this year. The first time, I called him to get the quote, he said he will need to look at the amount of junk in order to give out the quote, so I invited him, and his quote was competitive. He got the job, and he came on time with 4 additional guys. They got the job done fast with no issue in a very short time, then they cleaned up afterwards, and the fee was as discussed at no surprise. Since I had such a good experience with them the first time, I called him up again for the second time this month, and he came and gave us the quote, and said he could do the job right away, so there is no need for him to come back. This time, it was a smaller job, so he only had one helper. However, he was GREAT. He helped to take out some of the concrete blocks for us in the backyard as promised. His price was competitive, but Andy kind of regret about the fee he had asked, and made me feel bad. Nevertheless, he still get the job done. Also, one more tip, he doesn't like being watched while he is working, and wants to be left alone. I was watching them the first time I hired them and it was fine, but this time, he was a little hostile. I wasn't worried that they were going to steal anything, I was there to answer any question that they might have had or see if they needed anything else, but it was too bad he took things the wrong way. He asked me personal questions to indirectly tell me that he didn't want me to be there. I didn't take it any other way although it might sound like he was insulting me. Overall, I think he is a nice guy, but he just doesn't really know how to communicate. Or may be he was having a bad day. In conclusion, I would hire him again because at the end of the day, he will get the job done with efficiency and as promised, and I love his crew, they were great, fast, and no complaints. read more

Three men showed up to do a very difficult job...all looking at least in their 50's and in terrible shape. I gave them one star because they showed up on time and stayed the whole time...after reminding them that their website says "no job is too big or too small." I gave them a clear heads up of the scope of the job in advance and part way through they wanted to quit. Towards the end they were so angry that they literally started throwing things into the truck that shouldn't have been thrown. If you have a large job, they definitely aren't the ones to hire, although their website gives you the impression they are. read more

Service for hauling construction debris. On the plus side, I called them the day before, and they did show up with a truck and three guys to haul stuff. He came an hour early to give verbal estimate. When returned with truck began loading and 1/2 way through demanded additional funds to continue, despite having already provided a set fee. Communications / language really seemed to be a barrier. They were reasonably efficient, but considering that one can rent a debris box from a reputable company for a week for the same fee as they charged me for one truck load (approx 10 cubic yards) I can not recommend them. read more

He said they could take care of it right away. His brother Theo and another guy showed up less than half an hour later. Called Wed afternoon and by that evening a knock was at my door. Quote I was given for the large pile of dirt in my driveway was honored. I was told by the nice polite and well spoken young man that he and his brother would be by the following morning and when he showed up alone the next morning I thought well timely is money so here comes the price raise. He never asked for anything more. So I made sure there was plenty of icy cold drinks. By afternoon I checked on his progress and he never took a lunch break. So I put snacks out. I made an appointment with him and he didn't show up. He didn't even call later to explain what happened. I called and gave him another chance. He was a few minutes late the second time but did call to say he was coming. We made an appointment for him to haul away our garbage. He was a no show again. I called him later and told him I had waited 30 minutes for him and he just said,"Oh." He didn't apologize or say anything else so I told him I wouldn't be using him for our job. Agree with Jeff W, communication is a major problem. Communication WILL break down at some point, just a matter of when. The guy may be a good person, but he's somewhat irritable and impatient. He quoted one price over the phone, and raised it when he showed up... naturally. Luckily, I didn't proceed when I sensed that the guy had a chip on his shoulder and he made us feel like he was doing us a huge favor.
