On time, courteous, meticulous, professional - need I say more? Yes, I will say more. Happily. We all know finding an honest construction crew is a part of the challenge. Next challenge is finding a crew that will do great work. Bearded Brothers is not only honest, but does phenomenal work. But even more, they find the wrongs and fix them. Randy and crew - Kevin, Shawn, Sean, Derrick - all were top notch. (I hope I spelled their names right!) They framed our addition, built the interior walls, fixed the plans from our less than stellar architect, took out load bearing walls and installed new LVLs. They removed 20 years worth of rotted wood around our entire house, rebuilt walls, replaced all our siding, trimmed every single thing outside. They corrected issues they found from other contractors that were working on our home at the same time. They were so careful with our property. Every day they cleaned up, they were so conscientious. This project ballooned as more issues were found. We are grateful that this amazing team was proactive and so helpful. 20, 30 years from now the work they did will still be holding up. Randy and crew genuinely cared that the job was done correctly, and they respected our budget. Further, they pushed back other jobs so that they could continue to get ours fixed. Mind you, the addition was supposed to be a pretty simple job. But once our walls were opened up, it was Pandora's Box. This crew went with it and made our home solid. These guys are old school cool. Because the leaf guard was not working, and debris was collecting within the first three months of installation, and we are in our 70's, and can't climb the ladder, our neighbor took a look at it. He is a licensed contractor for gutters and leaf guards. He thought he could fix the job (the leaf guard was not installed properly, but he could not. Well....we ended up having to pay $1100 for removal of Lockhart's work, and cleaning and replacing gutters, and installing a new leaf filter, which works magnificently. Lockhart would not offer any solution or compromise when we brought this to their attention. True, we did not take pictures , as they said we should have because climbing a ladder is a challenge, but why, after paying them $1300, would we pay another contractor $1100? We did have a receipt for both jobs. We trust our neighbor. I am hoping that the roof lasts.

I deal with this crap all of the time. if you don't pay me in two weeks I'll take legal action. he wouldn't even let me explain my areas of concern and the difference from what the sled man said to me face to face and what was actually in the final bill. what a pour pour way to conduct business! Don't use these people. they are experts at fraud and misrepresentation!!!!

Project was supposed to start on, or around 7/29/2025. we kept contacting them, and didn't get a reply. Finally, on 9/17/25, Ashley spoke with Installer, they were finishing a job, and would be out to start the following week..9/22/25. That day, the dumpster was dropped off and the material was delivered. The work was to be started on Tuesday 9/23/25...NO ONE SHOWED UP OR CALLED. I called Ashley, she contacted installer, and he said they were still finishing previous job, and they would be out to Start on Wednesday, well Wednesday came and went with another NO SHOW. THURSDAY, I called Ashley going on 10am because they weren't here yet., she called back at 11:30, telling me that the installer didn't have a crew. After she talked to the Installation Manager, he said he would be here on Friday with the Installer. Friday 9/29/25, came and again NO SHOW!!! I text Ashley at 10am, received a text back at 11:45, saying the Installation Manager (Chris) would be here Saturday. Maybe Chad, the installer also. 9/27/25 Saturday..Chris got here 8:45, Chad arrived around 10am, complaining about where we lived , it was a long drive from Flint where he lives. We live in Richmond Township. They worked till 5pm. Sunday, they Both came out and got the siding done on the Peaks of the house. They said they would be back on Monday to Prep for Stone Work. 9/29/25 Monday...NO SHOW, AGAIN 9/3025 Tuesday, Chris show up, Chad eventually came...they worked until about 2pm, then had to leave. 10/1/25 Wednesday, Chad came out at 10am, worked for 2 hrs, then told my Husband that he was 'Frustrated' , so he left. He never did return. Finally, by the Noon on Friday 10/3/25, the prep work was done. Ashley contacted the Stone Work installers, the were to start on Tuesday 10/7/25...Another NO SHOW 10/8/25 Wednesday..NO SHOW 10/9/25 Thursday, got here around noon 10/10/25 Friday.. NO SHOW Finally by the end of the day on Tuesday, 10/14/25, the job was Done! On Thursday 10/16/25 , my Husband gets an email with the Final Bill, requesting payment. They never came out and clean the Stone Work. They had to adjust the bill for Credit due to Us, for unused Materials, and they were expecting final payment without doing any of that. In the end, it took them 2 weeks before they adjusted the bill, and they never came back to clean the stone work. If it wasn't for Chris, the installation manager, it would not have gotten finished.. We give Chris a 10 star review, and everyone else 3 stars.
