My 2022 Chevrolet Bolt wouldn't start. I have roadside assistance with Chevrolet. After a series of mishaps, Chevrolet called Andy's Towing, in Los Banos. I scheduled a tow through Chevrolet for 9am. Andy, the owner called me and asked me when I wanted to have the vehicle towed. I asked him if hea could be at my house at 7am, so i could be there when they towed my car. Andy arrived at 6:45am, ready to tow my car to Hollister. My car was originally scheduled for Monday. The previous towing company completely dropped the ball. Thank God I wasn't stranded on the road. I also am deeply grateful to the Yelp community for taking the time to leave reviews. We were scared and stranded late at night in the middle of nowhere and you all enabled us to quickly narrow in on who we needed to call to get us to safety: Andy to the rescue! After a major flat on I-5 due to their horrible potholes, we discovered our brand new Audi Q5 was not equipped with a spare - to cut weight, Audi puts a dummy in. Nice and noted now. Our Audi road service said it would be at least 2 hours. Being stranded in the dark, late at night, in the middle of nowhere, in wind and rain with kids was quickly becoming dire for us. Before turning to Yelp I called another local tow company who was not interested in helping us until morning. As panic started to set in, I hopped on Yelp and thank goodness found my way to Andy. He immediately tried to find a tire in his shop that would fit but dang it's a unique size. Within 30m of my initial call Andy pulled up next to us with his big, beautiful flatbed. We fortunately were about 10 miles from a hotel with vacancy. Andy went above and beyond, loading the 4 of us up with our suitcases and dropped us at the hotel before dropping our car off at Les Schwab Tire in Los Banos who quickly got us back on the road in the morning - they had 1 tire in stock of our rare size!!! We definitely had some angels helping us through the ordeal and Andy was first and foremost. Side note: the next morning on our way home, a few exits up from where we were stranded, we saw the same make/color Audi on the side of the road with a flat tire. What are the odds?!?! We pulled over to offer help and fortunately their model was a couple years older so they had the spare. Relieved for them! Be careful on I-5 folks. BEST TOW EXPERIENCE EVER! I had a blow out flat on I5 and the tire shop closed in an hour and a half and it was 40min from where I was. I called 5 different tow truck companies. Andy is the only one that gave me a price and a time under an hour that he could be there in. He was super nice and knowledgeable about the area and was able to take the back roads to make sure he got me to the tire shop all the way in Turlock on time so I could get my tire fixed and get back on the road because I lived 3hrs away still. He even cut his price down $100 for me so I had enough money to get my tire done right then instead of waiting. I HIGHLY recommend him. I had a flat tire passing thru Los Banos from San Francisco around 9:15pm earlier tonight. It was dark , cold, and I was exhausted. Although I was driving a 2022 new truck and brand new cell phone on hand, I found my truck sensor reading a flat rear tire. How can that be you ask? It just happened. All that could possibly go wrong did. I was so glad Andy was available and quick to come to the rescue. He was calm, patient, and professional. I called another and until now (3 hours later) have not heard from them back. Andy was very professional and was working and helping me within 20 minutes. If I could do more than five stars I would. I was traveling alone on the I-5 and had 4 hours more to go on my trip when my car completely turned off. All the mechanics were about to close so I called Andy thinking I might have to spend the night and go to a shop the next day. Well he came in 30 minutes, took a look under the hood and knew exactly what was wrong with it (mind you I had just left a mechanic called Highway 33, 15 minutes before and they told me my car could run) he took my car to an auto zone and put in a new accelerator in himself successfully getting it fixed before the sunset. He made me feel very safe and was incredibly reassuring that my problem would be solved. The car ran AMAZING and I honestly have not experienced such great customer service from a mechanic/tow. My truck broke down around 10PM on 5 north near Los Banos. I called a tow truck and Andy came to pick me up and brought me to a shop. Andy is a very friendly, respectful individual. I had to wait 2 hours for some friends from the bay to pick me up and Andy waited with me so that he knew I wouldn't be stranded on the sidewalk. I ended up having to sell my truck and a year and a half later he turned out ot be the one who bought it to fix it up. While he was fixing it up he stayed in excellent contact with me about the status of the truck. Andy has excellent communication skills and is a highly honorable man. I read a couple good reviews about Andy's Towing and decided to give them a call. I believe it was Andy who showed up, and he got there pretty quick. He was a pleasure to deal with, and he was professional but relaxed at the same time. He doesn't have a shitty or condescending attitude, and his equipment doesn't look like it's about to fall apart either... that's something that sticks out too somebody who's in the trucking industry. As a small business owner, it's nice to deal with other small business owners for this very reason.
