Pretty pressed flowers and brightly colored algae put into a pendant, bracelet or ear rings (among all the other options!) was so lovely. His show at the Made in Hawai'i Craft Festival was even better. I couldn't decide which piece I liked best and made a mental note to check out the website. I didn't have too much disposable income (ahem) at the time but always kept this jewelry in the back of my mind. (they're not pricey either I just work in the non-profit world ;) Fast forward it is about to be my sister's birthday and I thought the ivory locket would be perfect: an elegant way to say I love you by putting a picture of the two of us as kids inside. It was last minute and I was reluctant to try and ask for a piece right away as each one is made to order. I thought I would try and call and lo and behold Peter was so gracious and accommodating- he rushed the order for me and two days later I had the necklace in my hands! It is a charming locket with a vintage appeal: just what I needed. Peter was so helpful, letting me know when it would be mailed and the estimated arrival, working with me all the way. He is a truly classy gentleman and it shows through his work. Now I'm planning to order MY piece of jewelry :)

It's a welcoming little building with colorful items in the windows and a table outside. Prices are consistent with unique handmade items - it's not cheap here. We would have meetings on the Big Island every so often. After our gatherings, we'd roam around the town! This store still has amusing gifts, practical items, and cute stuff! It has postcards, jewelry, t-shirts, plushies, baby items, children's toys, Aloha shirts, soaps, lotions, books, Hello Kitty merchandise, tote bags, greeting cards, and more!
