I saw Dr. Mark Magura and his assistant Brandi, and they were beyond amazing. Brandi is so personable, genuinely caring, and you can tell she has a true passion for what she does. She explained everything ahead of time, made sure I was always comfortable, and had such a reassuring presence throughout the process. Dr. Magura is absolutely fantastic--gentle, caring, and exceptionally skilled. He explained every step before and during the procedure, and his knowledge and precision made me feel completely at ease. He was able to take care of my tooth quickly and effectively. I've had a lot of dental work done over the years, including many root canals, and this was my first time at Endodontics Inc. I can confidently say this was the best dental experience I've ever had. Well, well, well.....Here we are again 11 months later since my last review and this will be my…read morelast. Today, my children were scheduled for appointments at 1 pm and 1:30 pm. I received text messages the day prior to confirm appointments, and I responded with "C". I arrived at 12:55 pm. Only to be told my appointments were rescheduled for an hour earlier... But who did they inform? Not me, of course! Now they want me to schedule into the New Year! And this is not the 1st time it's happened, but the 3rd time. The lady reviewing the appointment told me I should have never been scheduled between 1-2 pm because it's their lunch, and she didn't know how that happened. Then, she said well someone called me and left me a message. NOT ON MY PHONE!!! Not the phone you sent the text message to. I asked for the number to launch a formal complaint, and the 1-800 number given only directed you as a caller to leave a message. I refuse to be inconvenienced yet again. Guess I'll start looking for a new dentist for me and my family. PREMIER HAS TO DO BETTER!!!! When you see that it is "YOUR ERROR", there should be some accommodations made for patients, especially with it being a repeated behavior. Dr. Kmak at Associated Dentists of NW Indiana did a terrible job on my crown, caused my a ton of…read morepain, and generally was the worst dental/medical experience I've ever had. Here's the audit trail of events and an attached picture of their handiwork. 12/15/2015 - NW Dentist - initial visit - Dr. Kmak only looked in mouth for approx 20 seconds. 12/29/2015 - Crown prep, over 30 minutes late seeing me, felt ton of pain, only worked for five minutes or slightly less, left assistant to do bite check and sealant around temp. crown 12/30/2015, 8:30am approx - called in first part of day to complain about swelling mouth from sealant on my gums and get appointment scheduled. 12/30/2015, 12:50pm approx - mouth getting worse, called to see if they could see me any earlier at any time as swelling and pain was increasing; was told dentist not available, asked to see anyone, told no dentists were available all were gone on vacation, go to ER if needed 01/05/2016 - Dr. Kmak (dentist) at NW Dentist to get broken temporary fixed. He looked at it. I had to prod him with the fact that my four-day holiday weekend was spent in pain before I got a mumbled "sorry" and no further accountability taken. He left room after approximately 20-30 second exam and left assistant to re-seal tooth. 01/05/2016 - spoke with office manager at NW Dental about my concern. She offered to have me see a different dentist; I said no. She negociated $150 write-off on my remaining fees. In effect I spent approximately $800 to feel a ton of pain, be treated poorly, and walk away to another dentist (who is awesome!). I did get the crown to take with me and it fit. And the tooth preparation was good enough for me new dentist. So, visit this office after making your own assessment, but there is a better place out there.
