It's hard to believe that this near perfect environment could be any better 16 years later. Well, apparently it's possible because at my daughters appointment today, from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we walked out, every single person greeted us and smiled and seemed to love their jobs. This speaks loudly to employee moral. The technician that did her pictures down to the finance lady...everybody was informative, prompt and professional. Dr. Puntillo is great and I look forward to my daughter receiving treatment at his practice!

Nightmares on Randolph…read more The experience with this dentist was deeply disappointing. The building is shiny and new, but that's where the dazzle ends. Their service, care and billing are atrocious. Chanbo also recommends unnecessary treatments; which provides cash flow for the new building, but superfluous, and depleting for you and your family. Unfortunately, the substandard treatment doesn't stop there -- Employees have had to bring lawsuits to be paid for their contracts. I brought my kids here for cleanings, which was my first mistake. The hygienist even attempted to bully me into fluoride treatments which I don't want for my family. My second mistake was allowing Chanbo Sim to provide orthodontic care for my 9 year old. He doesn't personally perform any orthodontic care or personally inspect any orthodontic work -- he has hygienists performing orthodontics. It was a huge red flag for me that he never showed up in the office during ortho appointments. Shortly after the initial treatment, both expanders fell out of my son's mouth. Our new orthodontist said this should never happen and he could have choked. He also added that he didn't need the expanders and doesn't need phase 1 ortho treatment. I should have ran then, but I didn't. I'm currently upset with myself for allowing this to go on, because after they replaced the expanders, they stopped working; when turning the appliance, the pin would just go round and round. I told this to the office and they said indeed, it is still widening his mouth. Anyone with a basic level of understanding would know that if there is no tension on the turn, then it is not expanding his palate. It was at this point that I stopped the care and went to a real orthodontist who revealed that they have heard of issues with this office. Please see the 1 star reviews on Google for this location along with his other location in Merrillville, "Family Dental Care." The reviews show a consistent poor level of care and service. Well, well, well.....Here we are again 11 months later since my last review and this will be my…read morelast. Today, my children were scheduled for appointments at 1 pm and 1:30 pm. I received text messages the day prior to confirm appointments, and I responded with "C". I arrived at 12:55 pm. Only to be told my appointments were rescheduled for an hour earlier... But who did they inform? Not me, of course! Now they want me to schedule into the New Year! And this is not the 1st time it's happened, but the 3rd time. The lady reviewing the appointment told me I should have never been scheduled between 1-2 pm because it's their lunch, and she didn't know how that happened. Then, she said well someone called me and left me a message. NOT ON MY PHONE!!! Not the phone you sent the text message to. I asked for the number to launch a formal complaint, and the 1-800 number given only directed you as a caller to leave a message. I refuse to be inconvenienced yet again. Guess I'll start looking for a new dentist for me and my family. PREMIER HAS TO DO BETTER!!!! When you see that it is "YOUR ERROR", there should be some accommodations made for patients, especially with it being a repeated behavior. You have to wait forever for an appointment and they are clearly seeing too many patients that they can't take care of in a timely manner. My daughter had a bracket fall off and two wires pop and they can't see her for over a month. And they do not care. Zero empathy and poor patient care! Stop taking patients if you can't handle the work-load!
