Her massage skills were great. Firm pressure, dug in when needed, loosened up impossibly tight areas, and helped get things moving in my body. I felt like new afterwards and will be scheduling again in a couple of weeks. I can't wait. I will say the massage was more expensive than most other spas, and to get the price down a bit, a membership is required, which I'm not thrilled about. She quickly found the areas that needed attention and adapted seamlessly to my disability and the complexities that come with it. I felt understood without having to over-explain anything. If I could leave a -5 Star on this business, I would. Here is what earned a 1 Star Review from both my Husband and I - 1 - Our massage was scheduled for on the hour/separate rooms. After being placed in our room we waited for quite a while. Myself maybe 10-12 minutes, my husband at least 15 minutes for our girls to arrive. I'm happy to report they ended at the right time leaving us with a 40 min massage, tops. Read on. 2 - Both of our experiences were poor by way of technique and overall outcome. Neither of us felt they targeted our needed areas with the focus of healing. We have had hundreds of massages of the past 20 years so we would consider ourselves somewhat expert. 3 - Both ladies left our rooms during the massage for various reasons leaving us to lay idly on our massage table for periods of time. My gal left 3 times to tend to the front desk (I'm not paying for that) and one time to have a heated argument outside our rooms with my husbands lady. Extremely unprofessional and awkward, and again not what I signed up to pay for. 4 - Both of us discussed, following our massages, the lack of modesty that was provided us. We were both left uncovered on the table while they left the rooms with doors ajar. 5 - My husband specifically found it unique that his gal had no clue where she was massaging and kept knocking his junk in the process. He didn't feel she was being intentionally inappropriate however felt her lack of awareness was highly unprofessional. 6 - My lady continued to talk incessantly through the massage, when she was in the room. 7 - I heard a poor man come back 3 times after being asked the first two times to come back later when he had a set appointment. He finally said cancel it when they asked he come back at 8pm....yes I heard all of this from my massage table while I was supposed to be getting a massage. :) 8 - The best part of all of this...is they required payment upfront which was approximately $170 for the 2 massages that were a total waste of time and left us not relaxed but laughing as we drove home at the horrific experience we had at Hawaii Massage. Needless to say, you can't make this up. I don't recommend this business. I won't be going back. And I award them the worst massage experience of my life. Massage Seeker BEWARE
