It's a lovely spa too, and not just massage. I met my masseuse, who was very welcoming. We talked about my chronic health issues and how to approach things, and what areas to prioritize. Her massage skills were great. Firm pressure, dug in when needed, loosened up impossibly tight areas, and helped get things moving in my body. I felt like new afterwards and will be scheduling again in a couple of weeks. I can't wait. I will say the massage was more expensive than most other spas, and to get the price down a bit, a membership is required, which I'm not thrilled about. I hate subscriptions, so I'll probably pay more for my freedom from a subscription and because my massage therapist is worth it.

I hurried down there and was met by my massage therapist, Luke! He focused just on my head and neck the entire time and after an hour, the nagging pain that literally brought me to tears was completely gone. I've had a little bit of pain flare up every once in a while since getting this massage a few months back, but nothing compared to what it was before I went in! If you have muscles out of whack that are causing you pain (especially in your head/neck), I highly recommend Luke. This was supposed to get me $10 discounts on massages for the duration of the "annual" membership. On Friday evening, 11/29, MyoFly "informed" its clients via email that it was discontinuing the membership program and was replacing it with a $25 per month membership effective 12/1. I figured this meant that they would not be selling new annual memberships but all new members would be charged this fee, or I would have to pay monthly after my membership expired. Wrong. They used my credit card info on file and charged me today for the $25 monthly membership without my consent. What a scam (and blatant breach of contract). I'm livid.

I sat in the waiting area, and was taken back exactly at my appointment time, 2pm. We discussed what I was looking for from this massage and got started. When she finished the massage I asked "was my add on service done as well?" She seemed confused. She checked her phone and said she didn't see it on my form beforehand but it was there! Also, I was shortened to a 30 minute massage instead of an hour. She said she got sidetracked and didn't notice I had an hour booked. The room was light so I had to squeeze my eyes. The front door was right next to room so I heard people talking. Overall, not a good experience. Then, she asks me if I'd like to come back in 2 weeks.. Um, no way. Not very professional. She told me she has ADD and the lit up room made her side tracked. I drove 38 minutes to be shortened and they try to offer me a $20 off of my next visit which won't happen. Massages are supposed to be relaxing and the therapists need to be prepared more.
